    This hostel is located at the 12th level of a building in the down-town (one of the main street),very close to the Egyptian Museum (only 10 minutes by walk). The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very kind! You can enjoy your breakfast at the top of the building (13th level)with a beautiful landscape all over the Cairo! The quality versus price ratio is excellent!

    I would definitely stay at the Ramses II again! I had my own room with bath and balcony for a very reasonable price, breakfast included. This is NOT a party place which was fine with me, but may deter others. Fairly basic accommodation but it's clean and the staff is excellent. Abdo, Muhammed and Walled were all pleased to answer questions, explain how to get to places, and generally make my stay as pleasant and fun as possible. After talking to other visitors to Cairo that I met I believe I lucked out when I booked at the Ramses. Great value, excellent staff, central location close to the sights, and a restful place to return to at the end of each day.

    This is a very well located hostel, clean and decent, with a nice staff. The building is old and dirty like most of the places down town Cairo, but rooms, w.c., a/c, etc. are o.k. and they help you as much as possible.
