I didn't like Bedouin very much, and we actually changed to another hotel. Staff is fantastic, really helpful and kind, however the location is really doggy. If you're afraid of your own safety, I don't recommend, even though it's described as a safe neighbourhood. I indeed changed hotels after my first night.

Very good hostel in Cairo Downtown. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Many coffeeshops around and with a black-white taxi you can go from there to Al-Azhar and Khan el Chalili Bazar for 10 LE.

The a/c did not work and the staff were not helpful even though we had children and told us we had to manage. the beds were awfull -just wooden boxes with spoilt matteresses. the room was not ready when we arrived we had to wait approx. 2 hours for the room. Even though the place looks neat and the commom sitting place looks clean it has no warmth. the staff except for the lady in the reception were very cold and were very unapproachable. the owner or partner of the place hangs around and is not welcoming - grumpy and cold. we thought we will spend a week at this place but changed our mindes because of the unwelcoming behaviour of the people at this place. as a family I would not like to go back there.

Basic, clean room with private bathroom, TV, cable and fridge. Hotel is well situated right next to the shops, bars and restaurants of Downtown (my favourite part of town) and withing easy walking distance (15 mins) of Zamalek. Staff are awesome! Very friendly and nothing was a problem!
