A great spot with friendly people, I was so happy to have this as my haven while in Cairo. The hostel booked tours for me and even though I could have done them cheaper by doing everything myself, saving myself the hassle and knowing that everything was taken care of was worth it. The rooms are simple but comfortable and it's definitely a nice, chill, no frills spot. I loved it.

That`s the best hotel in Cairo for those who don`t want to spend a lot of money but want to stay in a clean, nice, safe, relaxing place. Staff is great, particularly the young Mohammed `Tigher`, always smiling and helping customers, and the sweet Gamel, one of the kindest people I`ve ever met. All the guys are very well coordinated by the supervisor Mohamed, for sure the best person I met in Cairo. He is clever, kind, is a great problem solver and will help you in everything you need. You will never feel lost: thanks to his kindness you will feel home. In Invitation Hotel I felt in a family.

There was noise at night. Even one night we could hear like some people arguing in the hall. The lounge does not look neat and the center table glass needs to be cleaned.

The a/c did not work and the staff were not helpful even though we had children and told us we had to manage. the beds were awfull -just wooden boxes with spoilt matteresses. the room was not ready when we arrived we had to wait approx. 2 hours for the room. Even though the place looks neat and the commom sitting place looks clean it has no warmth. the staff except for the lady in the reception were very cold and were very unapproachable. the owner or partner of the place hangs around and is not welcoming - grumpy and cold. we thought we will spend a week at this place but changed our mindes because of the unwelcoming behaviour of the people at this place. as a family I would not like to go back there.
