A great spot with friendly people, I was so happy to have this as my haven while in Cairo. The hostel booked tours for me and even though I could have done them cheaper by doing everything myself, saving myself the hassle and knowing that everything was taken care of was worth it. The rooms are simple but comfortable and it's definitely a nice, chill, no frills spot. I loved it. |

Wake Up Cairo is the only place to stay while in Egypt. Everything is taken care of from transportation to and from the airport as well as any travel plans and arrangements you need. The duration of my stay in Alexander was a very pleasant experience. The place was very clean and well furnished..The staff were extremely polite and very helpful. I believe for the price I paid to stay in the hostel, I think i got more than i bargained for. I would definantly use this hostel again in the future,, Everything including the location of the hostel was excellent... |

The a/c did not work and the staff were not helpful even though we had children and told us we had to manage. the beds were awfull -just wooden boxes with spoilt matteresses. the room was not ready when we arrived we had to wait approx. 2 hours for the room. Even though the place looks neat and the commom sitting place looks clean it has no warmth. the staff except for the lady in the reception were very cold and were very unapproachable. the owner or partner of the place hangs around and is not welcoming - grumpy and cold. we thought we will spend a week at this place but changed our mindes because of the unwelcoming behaviour of the people at this place. as a family I would not like to go back there. |
