horrible hostel! It wasn't clean at all (bedbugs!) and there were only two (2!) showers for the entire hostel. Also, there were plenty of lockers, "for valuables", but apparently, everybody was given the key to the same locker, so all my stuff was stolen. Also, you need to wait for half an hour for the guy arriving when you want to check-in, even though you can tell them the exact time you're arriving when booking. Would not recommend at all!

    Bed bugs!!

  3. Callum From Scotland On October 31, 2016

couldn't check in at 9am so had to carry our stuff around with us until it was open. Make your own beds with an extra cost for sheets, showers weren't clean. I got bed bugs from there. Was nice and handy but expensive for how unclean it was.

  4. Michael From Germany On October 10, 2016

    nope. won't do it again.

  5. Elise From Germany On August 19, 2016

The staff was great, thank you so much!!!

  6. Clara From USA On August 4, 2016

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wira Hostel. The staff member was very friendly and made me feel at home. Transportation is literally a couple steps away and it's pretty close to everything. Thank you for the great hospitality.

  7. Marina From Russia On August 2, 2016

Everything was cool, thanks for hospitality! But the main thing for me that I couldn't pay by card my booking. That's would be lovely if you will have that's possibility:)

  8. Andreas From Switzerland On July 28, 2016

You get what you pay for. In my case that was totally fine, just don't expect a palace.

  9. Julien From Switzerland On July 11, 2016

Has what's required, nothing more. Would be nice to display check-in times on the website: announcing an early arrival and finding nobody is quite annoying.

  10. Elisabetta From Germany On June 19, 2016

Best location! But the price was quite high for the rooms. May be Hamburg Reeperbahn is expensive but they should have a better standard and make it more confortable and cosier.

  11. Christoph From Germany On May 18, 2016

    - subway runs audibly underneath the building - rooms are functional but not designed for "mass"-accomodation (only one central light, glass door to the corridor) - my 6 bed room was a run-through room to another 4 or 6 bed room

  12. Eva From Germany On March 7, 2016

perfect "cheap" hostel, however for that price not perfectly clean and sometimes a bit loud with a fitnes studio above. Enjoyed a warm and cheap stay

  13. François From France On February 14, 2016

We spent the weekend in Hamburg with a few friends and we had a really great time. The hostel is localed at 50 m from the Sbahn and at 10 min walk from all the bars of reeperbahn. Definitely worth it !

  14. Beatrice Francesca From Italy On January 16, 2016

Dirty hostel. Noisy. There's no control at night over people's behaviour and everyone can shout, speak loudly and disrespectfully because no one would tell him to stop. Dirty bed linen and dirty room, plus nobody ever opens the windows and it's stinks too bad. The morning of the check out, the personnel was not to be found and we had to wait for him to wake up after lunch. Worst experience ever

  15. Akio From Japan On October 24, 2015

There is a deposit money system for the gurantee purpose. However, the staff does not show up until the noon, which might cause a lot of troubles for the guests. In the worst case, one just loses the ten Euro deposit. Better to take this into your consideration in advance.

  16. abalogu From Bahamas On September 28, 2015

    good hostel. value for money.

  17. Konrad From Poland On September 21, 2015

Stupid rules - you cannot drink inside your room (even non alcoholic beverages...).

  18. Sabrina From Germany On September 13, 2015

Nice Staff, and a good location to stay. Only the bathroom and the Vanity were a bit dirty, not that bad, but a bit. The price of 38 € per Person per night is expensive in my opinion , also the additional 15 € for the bedlinen, because we were not allowed to use our own, which was not obvious in the first place. Same as the additional City tax. Also unfortunately there are no parking lots for the hostel. Neverthess I would stay there in the future, because it is a nice place to start a tour in Hamburg.

No holders for shower head, location is also quite noisy next to a busy road. I have my own sheet sleeping bag but staff reqired me to pay EUR3 for sheets.

The position was a positiv thing, but not the owner that asked us the key of the room the night before that i had to leave (until 11 am, telling me that during that night was not necessary for me! and different times men came in the shower room for girls, and also in the bathroom... the conditions of the hostel were scruffy! no words!
