Info & Description
Night lodge has six double rooms in a beautiful periodic building. The rooms can be used as 4 bed-dorms. We offer no single bed. But for group requests we can offer, double and 4 bed rooms.Many of the original features have been retained, for example the flooring, this provides an appealing authenticity.
Each room has a queen size bed, wardrobe, dresser and writing desk. The larger rooms include a couch.
The spacious kitchen provides all necessary equipment, including some extra features for example a dishwasher and washing machine.
There is one shared bathroom with a bath, sink and shower, plus a separate WC. mit Wanne, 1 Duschbad, sowie ein weiteres separates WC).
Internet use through a wireless-LAN connection/ it is accessible through out entire hostel.
You have the option of using our internet connection. What you will need is a web key. This we will provide with the booking confirmation. With a USB stick you can copy this code and enter the mini-hostel internet yourself. If you have not brought a computer internet use is still possible with the use of hostel pc.

Our house
Located between Sternschanze, the university campus and Planten un Bloomen, our flat is positioned very conveniently, it is half way between the main train station and Altona. All other districts of the city can be easily reached from this point, for example the Reeperbahn (main party area), the fish market, city centre etc, most can be reached within 10 minutes on the train. The popular area named Sternschanze is very near by, less than a ten minute walk, or 3 minutes by train.

Reception will be open and available for all guest arrivals between 10am and 8pm, in the case that arrival is outside of these times then an alternative is possible. This involves the key being left in a safe in the reception area. In order to get the code to open the safe there will be a phone with a number to dial which will put you through to one of our operators who will have the code for you. The reception lies just below the main entrance of the hostel, Lodgings-Hamburg is written on the door and it is just down the steps at the address of our hostel (Bundesstrasse 8). There you will be able to collect your key and bed linen.
Bed linen and towels are available for minimum 3 day bookings, otherwise there is a cost of 3� for a set (pillow case, quilt, and sheet)
Bed linen can be rented for your stay, at a cost of 3 �, of course it is no problem when a guest has their own bed linen with them. Towels can also be rented for a price of either 1 or 2 euro depending on the size.
The shower and toilet can be found in the hall.
Our mini-hostel has one main shower room and one toilet. There is however another separate shower and bathroom.

Smoking is forbidden within the hostel
Female dogs are allowed as well as male if they are calm and friendly cost free
If you would like to bring your dog there is no extra fee. We have our own dog (Filou) who you will meet at reception. Filou is a beautiful husky-German Shepard. He is very calm and everyone enjoys his peaceful nature. He is of course more interested in the visits from female dogs as opposed to male ;-)

The full payment must be made when you arrive; there is a bank very near by with an ATM.

It is our priority to ensure that our guests feel comfortable during their stay with us; for this we believe a high standard of cleanliness to be of utmost importance, therefore we have daily cleaning this includes the bedrooms as well as kitchen and bathrooms.

Nice and clean hostel, we had a very nice and spatious room. The only inconvenience was only 1 bathroom, 1 shower, and 1 WC for all 7 rooms on the floor. Otherwise everything was fine.
A fine place and good value for the money. The Service is good and there is a very friendly atmosphere in the room. We all four have ahd a splended night and 2 lovely days in Hamburg
Clean and tidy. Just a bit dark at the staircase side.
Nice and clean, pretty quiet, exceeded my expectations, will stay there again. :)
There was no reception. We should have received a code for the key box, but we did not. one guy, who we find after a long search, told us that they forgot to send the mail from time to time. We were not informed about linens and towels.
In the cellar, there was a lot of cigarette smoke and a smoky smell of cooking. I think the kitchen had bad ventilaion.
