Happy Days Hostel - Rome, Italy

i had a very good time in this hostel. a big kitchen and the very friendly staff. it was clean enough and very cheap. only 5minutes walk to the vatican and it is located on a very local shopping street. they cooked us free pasta and made us free sangria. i made a lot of new friends there. staff took us to some bars at nights. they always have hot water, free internet and free wifi. smoking and lobby places are clean and has a big screen TV. i will be back for sure and recommend it to everyone.

Worst Hostel i have ever been to! I booked a 4 bed dorm, but got a 10 bed dorm (because they dont have 4 bed dorms). It was really noisey and didnt feel clean at all. (Bed bugs!)

I would recommend to sort the waste. The containments are just in front of the doors of the house, where is the hostel.

Staff friendly, location at its best, fun and charakter ok. BUT: Worst accounts of cleanliness; came back to Germany with mites (infection all over the body) and bites of bed-bugs (prior in my face and on my neck. Not worth recommending. Kind regards, Bianca

This hostel is confortable for you if are India jones; seriously for that price cloud by funny if you are in group of frieds (htere is also the kitchen)

It's quite messy and not well managed. When they clean the rooms they touch and move your stuff and bags, sometimes filling them with other rommate's things.

For that price, ives stayed in MUCH better hostels. I'm usually not picky, I could tolerate the "not-so-clean" bathrooms and the no key in the bedroom, what I hated was the extremely not polite/not helpfulness of the staff, I never felt welcomed. Another things, staff entering the room randomly (at any hour) I felt it was a little invasive (so to speal since those are shared rooms). Anyhow, be advised, is not a nightmare, but I've stayed better hostels for the same price.

The Position is perfect! The staff also. Ali is a cool guy as well as both Indians who stay there. The Peruvian guy is cranky but he means well. Nevertheless, the hostel closes from 10 to 5, which means you cannot cook your lunch in there and the city is too expensive to eat outside. Another really bad thing is that this hostel says they have breakfast. Sorry dudes but this is a lie! They do not have breakfast. They say they have in winters and they serve diner in the summer. What is another lie. I was there for 5 nights and had to buy everything to eat in the morning and in the evening! The DO NOT HAVE lockers either!!! So, that is it. It was nice being there, but I really recommend other places that are cheaper or serve at least a poor breakfast.

this hostel is the best choice for someone wants to have every monument close , a clean bed to sleep in when tired , a gd company and service and all this at the price of a Cappucino :P , I highly reccommend it !!!!!!!!!

The shower whater its hot and change all the time for cold,bad staff becouse the 10 hours they kik out everybody and you can back only 05 PM..

Realy nice place to meet peoples, chat go out or something :) diner evenings is also nice. I enjoyed this place as much as the city :) if you are looking for 5star hotel it`s not the place :)

We were so suprised over this hostel!! The staff were so nice, really good atmosphere. It felt like you were one in the family with the staff. When have you lived at happy days you never want to leave. We love you staffgroup :D You know who we are ;)

Found it a bit awkward the way you have to ring the bell. Staff seemed uninterested. Not enough showers and they weren't great quality.
