Generally acceptable hostel but the surrounding below average.

  2. Areyauna From Canada On November 30, -0001

This was a very nice hostel and we enjoyed our stay. However, make sure you dont get the room beside the kitchen because you will be woken up everyday at 630!

  3. Serhat From Turkey On November 30, -0001

Horrible staff!! No one knows English! They take extra 5€ for me beacuse of late come. However, I went there at 11 pm!!! Breakfast is extra. You can find another places with same price. Although clean hostel, very expensive considering the whole things..

  4. jack From England On November 30, -0001

Very good, practical b and b. However you literally get nothing more than the room, everything else you have to pay extra for; towels, breakfast, soap etc. The position couldn't be more central.

  5. Giedre From Lithuania On November 30, -0001

The Hostel is really cool, very good location, nice personal and very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. There is nothing to complain about.Just the breakfast (the price is not included and costs extra 3 EUR) could be better, the assortment was very low).Everything else great!

  6. Gertrude From Austria On November 30, -0001

We arrived at 11.30 a.m. and the cleaning staff wanted immediately 5€ for arriving 30 minutes too late, don't pay it!!! The kitchen could only be opened after having asked for the key. The floor in our room was dirty and the front rooms are terribly loud. The hostel is situated perfectly for visiting the historical centre.

a wonderful old house in the center of palermo

  8. Felix Jakob From Germany On November 30, -0001

A nice hostel with good rooms. Our dorm was on a big street. It was very, very loud... .

Palazzo Savona was one of the best places we stayed during our entire two-month trip around Italy. The staff was great and very, very friendly, the room was clean and included air conditioning, and the shared bathrooms were sufficient and not overcrowded. Also, the bathrooms had washing machines for free use. The location is about as central as possible in a large city like Palermo. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

  10. Dayle From Australia On November 30, -0001

I stayed in the 4-bed shared room and it backed onto the main street of town- Very, very loud. I'm a heavy sleeper and it was the worst sleep I've had!!!

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in all my years of backpacking! Its very clean, spacious, the girls behind the desk are very kind and helpful. We had a TV in our room and a marble balcony over looking via Roma. Good breakfast, clean showers. The hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the main train station and down a little alley, but well marked. The directions say it is on the second floor, but in the American standards, it is actually on the third floor. The showerheads were handheld with no place to mount the head for a handsfree shower. But that was the only down side of this hostel. I would (and hopefully will) go back again.

  12. Marta Katarina From Slovenia On November 30, -0001

great location, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, maintainance of the showers should be considered; all in all very satisfactory, definetly will come back

  13. Ursula From Germany On November 30, -0001

extreme traffic noisy. smells badly. mould fungus in the bathroom. private bathroom is located 10 meters over the floor.

  14. Matthias From Germany On November 30, -0001

This is the greatest Hostel I ever stayed at. Located in a beautiful, newly renovated Building, the Hostel itself is pretty new. The 4 Bed-Rooms are large, clean, the bed is nice. The Bathrooms were cleaned every day. The Staff is really friendly, helping whereever they can. There is a room for the public with seats, books and a large Television. The location is not far from the train station and not far from the citys main parts. Everything was perfect.

  15. Adam From Canada On November 30, -0001

The Palazzo is a fantastic hostel. It's located as close to the centre of the city and its attendant action as possible, it's incredibly clean and the place is gorgeous and really spacious. The staff was sometimes a little hard to find if you needed something, but that's an acceptable offshoot of the place being so very large. I'd stay there again without a doubt.

  16. Chalermchai From Thailand On November 30, -0001

it was good hostel and i will go back and agin. the staff are very nice and polite, friendly.

  17. John From England On November 30, -0001

Everything ok, apart from........the NOISE! Traffic at all hours meant a sleepless night. Bring your earplugs!

  18. VICTOR From Spain On November 30, -0001

Excellent place to stay, well located in the centre of Palermo, new with a lot of facilities: air conditioning in rooms, TV and Satellite TV, and really good prices. I like this place!.

  19. Artur From Poland On November 30, -0001

Very nice, clean place to stay in Palermo. Stylish, big rooms. Very friendly young stuff. We can recommend it to enyone planning his budget trip to Palermo.

  20. David From Australia On November 30, -0001

Very good value and almost the perfect location. The Via Roma makes this hotel a little noisy but this is offset by the comfortable, large, clean beds and clean bathroom area. At 19 euros this is a cheaper and better option than the hostel. Little lonely for single travellers although it is a good place to meet Italian travellers who no doubt appreciate the good value. Staff speak English and are extremely helpful.
