  2. Jay From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Yara is a very kind host who speaks English as well. She helped us with locating things and our taxi back to the airport. Breakfast was great! Room was big, comfy and good location near Avenida 23.

The price was including the breakfast. Breakfast was not very special. Staff was nice. 25 CUC from airport, 20 CUC back to airport. Room was ok, bed was too small and not comfortable. Airconditioning did not get cold, bathroom was very small and showerhead didn't stay on the holder. No walking distance to vieja or centro. This was our second stay in Havana, the stay was ok, but not the best.

Friendly staff who made my trip great and after having traveled around the rest of Cuba, coming back to Casa Yara was like coming home again. They provided me with great tips and ideas of how to get around Havana and I got an insight in how life on Cuba works! Ironically enough, on my last day in Cuba, I found the best restaurant Cuba has to offer just around the corner of Casa Yara, highly recommended! Stefan from Sweden

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the Casa very much. Yara prepared a wonderful dinner and breakfast every day and helped us plan our tours. She also made really good Mojitos and was very kind to us. We would definitely visit her again in Vinales.

Very warm and helpful hosts. Let us come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was amazing! Far from center of action but not bad if you like walking or take a cab, which is what we did so it was good for us.

What a fantastic Casa! You will be lucky to book this casa as the hostesses Yara and Yadira go out of their way to assist you. The casa is like stepping back into your own home.

Casa Yara is a wonderful experience. The hospitality of Yara and her daughter, Jadera is without match. Were it not for their help and generosity in Cuba I would have been up shit creek. Yara's fresh fruit and eggs and fresh fruit juice breakfast is to die for. The coffee is also good. For 2 nights, I stayed at Hotel ingleterra on Central Park and for 4 times the cost. Ingleterra could not compete though it was nice staying in a beautiful old building next to the Theatra Habana. You won't regret your stay at Casa Yara. It may even be the best part of your visit to Cuba

Nise house, spacy room, god cleaning. Very nice and helpful people. The aerea is quite and nice, and there are many god places to go out at night, nearby. Easy to go to the old town by the local taxi system for only 10 cup (0,5cuc). This was my best Casa experience in cuba.

I am very glad that I stayed at this guest house. The owner invited me to have Christmas eve dinner and new year eve dinner with his family and so I enjoyed local culture and real local food. The house owners are very very nice persons and they can speak basic English and will help you whatever question / difficulties you have. The rooms are clean and close to Viazul bus station, the malecon and revolution plaza. A little bit far from old havana but you can pay 0.5USD for a taxi getting there in 10 minuntes. I will stay here again in the future if I have another trip to Havana.
