We rent six rooms with private bathrooms, in beautiful colonial houses in 1940, with everything necessary for our visitors to feel comfortable, air conditioning, refrigerator, fan, electricity 110 and 220, our houses are located in the heart of Old Havana, we are surrounded by the main tourist places in the area, such as Bodeguita del Medio, La Catedral, Floridita, museums and squares, we offer breakfast, laundry and ironing. We are available to our guests 24 hours a day, providing our services, we recommend visiting the most picturesque places in the city and in Cuba, we answer your questions and provide you with all the information you need, our main objective is that the client feel at home and with family.
Our rooms are distributed as follows:
2 with 1 double bed and 1 personal, capacity 6 person, 3 person each
2 with 1 double bed 4 person, 2 people each
1 with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed 4 person
1 with 2 double beds 4 person
All with sheets, towels, mirrors, cabinets, 110-220 V, refrigerator, air conditioning, wall fan, private bathroom, hot and cold water, hair dryer.
We inform you that we offer the pick-up service at the airport for 35.00 EUROS or USD for up to 4 people, we wait for the necessary time until the arrival of your flight and the customs controls, no matter the delay, we will be there.
If you come alone, how to get to our house
You must enter through the Bacardí building, this is San Juan de Dios street, on the third street is our house, you will see a building on your left with a large sign that says: House of Alexis and Mary, please knock on the big door that does not have a fence, on your left you will see a bell that says: Alexis and Mary's house ring there, we will immediately go down to receive you.
To have Internet, we recommend you buy online, on the cubaceltur.com site, select Tourist SIM Card on the web, fill out the form and you can pick up the card at the José Martí airport, at the CubacelTur offices, to activate it follow the steps that come in the manual or in the ETECSA offices that exist throughout the country.
You can exchange your currency, in front of the house, at Banco Metropolitanos, where there are several ATMs, or at the exchange house (CADECA) on Obispo Street.
In our bathrooms there is hot and cold water, you will find two faucets, one hot and one cold, always open one and wait a few minutes, to see what temperature it is, or ask anyone in the house, we will gladly help you.
It is very important to make your reservation for the number of people who will actually be in our house or you will be charged in cash 10.00 EUROS or USD per night, for each person added to your reservation.
Our clients can invite Cuban or foreign friends to the house, but they cannot enter the rooms, it is for the safety of their bags or belongings, since everything that is in their room is our responsibility.

    Location of this casa is excellent, in the center of Havana Vieja. Mary and Alexis are very friendly and helpfull. They arrange everything you need. Great breakfast! Rooms are small but clean.

    Our hosts were friendly and hospitable. The room was clean but had no real windows and was small. We have been put in CASA DE ALEXIS Y MARY Nr.2. Nr.1 is described on the website and is 1 km apart from nr.2. Nr.2 has a less favorable location. Be aware of this!

    Do not book this casa. It is a ILLEGAL casa. When we arrived at this case we were brought (by Alexis) to another casa, he said that we will stay at "Alexis y Mary number 2". When we arrived there we were brought to a very small room (bunker is indeed the best description from the reviewer before). This casa had not the facilities that they described here. There is NO terrace, NO refrigerator (yes, there was one but it was not working), NO living room or kitchen that we could use.... There is not one picture here of the place where we were brought to. We had to pay a ridiculous high price! We were in 7 casas during our stay and we can definitely say this casa has the highest price but the lowest quality. We were said that the taxi service to the airport was 25 CUC but at the end we had to pay more. Moreover, this casa is ILLEGAL since they didn't ask for our passports during our stay (they are obligated in cuba to administrate every guest). The people in this casa were friendly but the description of this casa is way from realistic.

    I booked the CASA in advance. I emailed the casa several times and they confirmed my booking. When we arrived and after waiting for an hour inside the casa they said the casa was fully booked. We were therefore sent to another casa (best described as bunker). The service was bad, the place was expensive and they tried to book expensive taxies for us (40CUP to the airport). After two wonderful weeks in Cuba without any problems this was a bad experience.

    Only complaint is that the pillows were very uncomfortable because the seemed to be made of multiple small pieces of foam. Everything else was wonderful.

    Good breakfast - one of the best breakfast out of all the casa's in cuba. Location good. Did not feel as spacious as other casas I stayed in but that is perhaps more difficult To find in central havana.
