    Small hotel. We had a large room with a large covered balcony; all day hot water and soft towels. Staff willing to make early breakfast on request. No pressure to buy tours (we were not even offered them). Felt secure as it was up 4 flghts of stairs, there was always someone in the reception area and only a few staff. As others have commented, the entrance and stairway is unprepossessing! More expensive than places we used elsewhere in Egypt but cheap for Cairo.
