Nice stay and lovely host

Ana Maria is a very caring and immensely helpful host - it feels great staying with her. It's within walking distance of old Havana if you want to put the effort in, I'd recommend to simply take a coco or bike taxi. There's a good restaurant (Don PP) nearby as well. Highly recommended case!

We strongly recommend Casa Anabel for your Havana stay. The staff were very helpful, friendly, communicative and made the start of our Cuba trip a great experience. It is a separate apartment with a nice terrace where breakfast was served. Breakfast offered a great selection of good food: coffee, juice, fruit, jam, omelette or eggs and bread. Simply- fabulous! Location - close to the Carlos III road leading to the city center (cca 15 min by taxi), Plaza Revolucion (3 min by taxi)

Elina and Maria are very nice and kind hosts, they live upstairs of the room you would stay in. The room is very private and quite clean, so it's nice to have time to yourself from the city center. Expect to walk maybe about 30 mins to reach the city center, (which was hard for me to make a round trip on foot in the heat of Havana)

Be careful with which bus station this is near. Do not confuse it with Viazul, which is pretty far.

Location is good if you want to experience Havana as locals do. Very loud and noisy neighbors- loud TV till 11pm, old lady next door yells in the middle of the night, child next door crying all night long, windows have no sound isolation - all this lead to a very poor sleep. It was clean enough but not clean 100% as we experienced in other casas all over Cuba. It is worse than it looks in the pictures. Ronaldo was nice but he gave us no tips and he was drunk on the night we checked in, they dont offer breakfast or dinner.I would not recommend staying there.

Alessandro From Italy On November 30, -0001

The house is very old but fine and the room was quite clean. The price is very cheap, but the main drawback of the house is its location: a good 25 minutes walk to the Havana Vieja. However, a good option if you're on a budget

Casa Kety is a very comfortable place to enjoy Havana from. Jaime and Kety our welcoming their guests really nice, the rooms are spacious and clean and there is a private bathroom for each room. Breakfast was included for us , which was delicious. They can't speak English, so you'll enjoy a little more when you know some Spanish. The location was ok. It's a little outside of Havana Vieja, but easy to get a taxi or if you are fit enough it's a good hike ;)

Thomas From England On November 30, -0001

Kety's Casa was amazing! It's location is just off Av23 so you can easily catch collectivo taxis, there's plenty of places to eat nearby, plus the Mirimar Casa De La Musica is pretty close. Kety was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and she gave the place a little clean up each day - was one of our most pleasant stays in Cuba!

Unfortunately I can't recommend due to the noise - the guest room is over a busy road 24/7 and the slatted windows on 2 sides of the room let in all the sound (not the owner's fault - most Cuban residences don't have glass in windows). Didn't sleep well. We stayed at other Casa Particulares which were quieter and cheaper, with bigger bathrooms so value was not great for us. Sorry!

Helen From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Licet is a great host. We stayed her 1 night (our first in a casa) and felt welcome. Although situated near downtown Habana and Habana Vieja the casa was easy to find and we could park in front of it.
