I really loved the Khaosan Baan Thai. The room was fairly bare bones, but clean, with two fans, clean sheets, pillow, and shelves for your things. There was also a rack for hanging clothes to dry, which was really handy. They have a common area with lots of tables where they serve breakfast, offer free tea and coffee, and have snacks for sale. There are books, a television, and wifi, plus computers that you can use if you like. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly, and very helpful. If you want, they can hook you up with tours, cabs, sightseeing, etc. I'm extremely happy with my stay here and would happily use it as a home base again. If you want a clean cheap friendly place to stay, it's perfect. Located on a nice quiet side street only a short distance from Khao San road. |

The hotel staff were one of the shittest I have ever encountered. They bounced me around like a ball because they did not reserved room for me during New Year Eve despite my bookings over internet.
