We are two friends who met in Ireland in 2006. After a year working and travelling around we came back to Uruguay and decide to continue travelling. That´s why on December 2008 we opened Pocitos Hostel, to continue our trip knowing people from all around the world with new and different life histories.
Pocitos Hostel staff is the best and most helpful staff you will ever find. They are all our friends specially selected.
The beautiful house where Pocitos Hostel is, was made on 1930 and is in the center of the most safe and nice neighborhood in Montevideo (Pocitos).
The hostel is the only one in Montevideo with a back yard, where we do the best 'asados' in the city ;).
The mix between the house, neighborhood and the staff will make special, your stay in Montevideo. We are happy to say (as some backpakers said) that Pocitos Hostel it is a home away from home...
