cheap budget hostel in rio... really stay here only if you are on a tight budget, and do get a bed in the air conditioned room, otherwise it would be hot as hell.

  2. Rachel From England On November 30, -0001

Very friendly staff and homely feel, make yourself at home atmosphere. But watch out for the mosquitos, beds aren´t comfortable and the internet is not free!

Spent Carnival in Rio, got mugged the first day there! This trip could have been horrid since the mugging, but Zema (Hostel manager) was the bomb! He helped me out so much and really made my stay a fantastic one. Would reccommend to everyone! Great atmosphere and great fun. Thanks Zema!

Youthful bustling hostel in beautiful building. Was still being built around us and they could have emptied the toilet bins more but they serve great caipirinhas! Well placed to visit all of Rio but not much going on in the Botafogo area. They keep the plastic covers on the beds so can be very sweaty - take a sleeping bag!
