As a great retreat in this amazing and fun-filled Colonial city, Casa San Gallito Hostel offers two mixed dorm rooms, one private room and the exclusive “Girls Loft”, a chic and comfortable female-only space. Full of exciting art and surprises everywhere, Casa San Gallito Hostel is the only genuine hostel in the city, with the character and friendly atmosphere that modern backpackers look for these days.

Decorated by funky local artists, our mixed dorms are big and bright with super high ceilings and lots of space (no more crowded camp-style dorms). Each bed has its own reading light, air fan, night shelf and power outlet. Lower bulk beds feature curtains for added privacy. Next to the bathroom area, there’s a comfortable common room featuring lockers, dressing rooms and washbasins.
The Casa’s private room is ideal for couples or friends looking for a little privacy but still wanting to experience the fun social atmosphere of a cool hostel. This room, with its own private entrance, features en suite bathroom and a luxurious ambiance with high-quality linens and amenities.
One of the greatest features of Casa San Gallito Hostel is the “Girl’s Loft”, a sophisticated female-only apartment featuring a 6 bed dorm and a private room with the best amenities to feel like a girl again after being in the road for a while. At check-in you will receive a fluffy towel and a complimentary bag with quality personal care products. Bathroom feature big mirrors and hairdryers. This chic haven is completed with an exclusive lounge to relax and a laptop to check your e-mails and continue planning your trip. To ensure this area remains female only, there is an exclusive entrance with an extra lock.
The common areas of the Casa feature a huge and functional kitchen with all the facilities to prepare delicious meals. There are free condiments and cooking oil available for guests to use. Complimentary breakfast is served everyday, so you can get the energy necessary to explore our great city and its surroundings! There’s also a laundry room with a convenient drying area.
Our chilling-out room is the perfect place to relax and get together with other guests. You can do a lot of things here or do nothing at all!! There are computers with free internet access, skype and webcam to stay in touch with your friends and family. Also, there’s a TV with DVD player and an amazing catalog of hundreds of titles for you to choose and enjoy a movie night (popcorn included!).
