Loved the place and the people. Good food, clean, characterful, accommodation, great swimming pool but most of all the family couldn´t be more welcoming and helpful
This hostel definitely provided fun, a superb location, and excellent assistance from staff that was beyond any hostel experience in North America. It has a unique atmosphere that was relaxed and sociable but quiet and professional.
La Villada Inn is far more than a hostel. It is a truly charming experience. We felt like long lost friends from the moment we arrived. We were included in special family events which gave us a rare and wonderful opportunity to experience life in Oaxaca as more than a tourist. La Villada is designed to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. The pool area and games room provide lots of opportunity to socialize with other guests and friends of the family or find solitude if you prefer. The rooms are beautifully appointed, very comfortable and serviced daily. We loved eating in the casual dining area. The food and staff were wonderful.The views are beautiful and the bus ride in to town is easy and fun. The tours were the best. There is no pressure to buy and the family who run La Villada are masters at casual friendliness. They made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. They helped us with advice, travel tips, bookings, and even called a doctor out when people got sick or injured. La Villada is the best travelers experience you'll find anywhere. Once you get there you won't want to leave. Thank you to everyone at La Villada. You're the best!!!
One of the best hostels we have stayed in. Staff are great fun and make you feel at home, rooms are large and clean and the pool is an added bonus. Views over the mountains are awesome, over all its a must stay!! we highly recommend this place.
