The staff are very friendly and the position is very close to all turist points. The bad point is that the bathroom is not good, because there aren´t curtains and the water goes all the bathroom. The room is tiny too. Homewer is a good hostel, the breakfast is noce and there is wireless in the rooms.

  2. Manfred From Germany On November 30, -0001

Do not be put off by first impressions, very steep stairs, minimalist rooms and a wet bathroom (including the loo when showering). You will have a wonderful time, the staff, the location, the breakfast and warm welcome, delightful.

we found this guesthouse to be very helpfull&friendly it is also situated within 5 to 10 minuets walking distance of many of the main tourist sights. The only conplaint we have is that we given a double room when we asked for a twin. All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending the Tulip Guesthouse to anyone.

The hotel does not update their room availability on most booking sites, so booking on this site does not make much sense. You pay the commission, but stll do not have a reservation. Rooms on ground floor are very noisy and I would not want to stay there a second time.

  7. Sandra From Lithuania On November 30, -0001

Excelent acomodation for budget turists. Not much luxary, but realy good geographic position - close (not more than 5 min walk) to the main touristic sites of Istanbul, nice view of Bosforus through dining-breakfast room windows. But the best is friendly atmosphere: you can spent evenings in the dining room with hotel keeper and guests dincussing on various themes: from getting information, what o do tomorrow, to analysing modern movies...

Tulip Guesthouse is very well located whithin 5 minutes of the blue and Santa Sophia Mosques. Rooms are small but clean and the top floor room where breakfast is served has a nice view of the Bosphorus. Personel is very friendly and helpfull.

Indeed the best breakfast in Istanbul! Very well located and cosy place! A great opportunity to meet several nationalities sharing different views of the world and of Istanbul. If I would return to Istanbul, I would stay at Tulip guesthouse.

one of the best hostels I have ever stayed, very large breakfast, wonderfull view from dining room, few steps from main attractions, blue mosque, hagia sophia and topkapi palace, Metin and Emrah who run the guest house, is hospitable, warm, and knowledgeable about Istanbul and Turkey. rooms are very clean and nice sized... Highly recommended!
