Moshav Almagor, a village overseeing the Sea of Galilee, is where you can find a gem, Sea of Galilee Guest House. Located at a large beautiful courtyard you can find the housing guesthouse of Yael and her daughter, Roni. They manage a devoted team dedicated to accommodate and welcome the guests along with the family's pets.
From our spacious yard there is a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, mountains of Jordan, and the lovely Tiberius.
Our gardens are filled with trees, many different flowers, and our own herbal flowerbeds with mint, lemongrass, sage, etc.) The large garden has a common area with a spacious lawn, sitting areas, hammocks, BBQ grill facilities etc.
Right in the midst of all the activities, happenings and events this area has to offer, we always give a warm welcome with a big smile, sharing many stories about the area, its history and nature, providing maps and brochures of near-by attractions, along with directing each traveler in order to create the best experience.
Our Accommodations
Sea of Galilee Guest House is for couples, families, and anyone who appreciates the backpacking way.
We have four units for singles or couples and even parents with one child complete with air conditioner, bed sheet and clean towels not extra charge, small kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi connection.
Two units for families that fits up to 6 people complete with air conditioner, bed sheet and clean towels not extra charge, small kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi connection.
Dormitory with 7 separated bunk beds with air conditioner, bed sheet and clean towels no extra charge, fully equipped nearby kitchen and computer station, coupled with a shower and toilets, all connected to a beautiful deck resting area.
Breakfast: One of our famous treats is our homemade breakfast we serve each morning in an intimate dining room in a small additional cost.
Important: For our Israeli guests, please take under consideration that the rates will include 16% VAT (Maam) upon payment.
Additional Services
Laundry: We have a self service machine washer and dryer with an extra charge.
Cycling: For the cycling aficionados, we have two bicycles at a daily fee, which you can rent and enjoy the great outdoors in a firsthand experience.

    We enjoyed a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, "mini kitchen and breakfast area" apartment here in April 2013. Everything was "selected" and thoughtfully and artistically chosen. Top quality. Lovely, peaceful setting. Amazing "remove" from touristy-places. A "rural" feel, with Sea of Galilee in view. Best breakfasts we have ever had anywhere. If we return to Israel, I would book this Guest House first, before flights, any other arrangements. We stayed 3 nights, next time, a minimum of 5! You can reach many places from this oasis. We have much respect for Yael, the owner-hostess. Like, she doesn't have to be doing this. She is offering an amazing service to have this place.

    strong: nice rooms, nice view, nice staff, nice orange and citron trees, bbq. weak: communication (what time is breakfast?), no vacuum cleaning, throw some old things away, high price, dirty cats and dogs, rubbish in the moshav

    I rated position lower only because this guest house is out in the country w/o public transport. With a car, it would be a wounderful place.

    A very nice place in a typical israeli neighborhood: a Moshav. Beautiful view at the Sea of Galilee. Very nice garden. Quiet surrounding. Two hammocks! The kitchen is not so well equipped. The breakfast is traditional. Nice cats and a nice dog.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sea of Galilee Guest House. The room was comfortable and clean with free 24/7 internet access next door (along with free teas and coffees). The view from the garden over Galilee is stunning. The main draw back is the location, you have to have a car to get there as there is no public transportation around. Roni (the owner) kept us informed and was very helpful. It is very good value for money.

    The best of all is probably the hospitality. The family who is running the guest house is very kind. The view for the sea of Galilee is just amazing. And we still have the very clean, organized and even beautiful accommodation.The best in Israel.

    The moshav is a bit hard to find and calling the tenant is the best thing to do (it makes things much easier). The tenant is very nice and makes an awesome breakfast: very healthy, Mediteranean kind. Dormitory is spacious and very clean too. Definitely a great place to stay in.

    My host provided an evening meal unrequested when she saw how tired I was. She also made a great breakfast. My only complaint was that the internet wasn't working, but I think she'll fix that. Great location, with view of the Sea of Galilee and the furnishings were excellent.
