Info & Description

Russafa offers a new concept of youth hostel. We invite you to enjoy cheapness quality in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the city center.
If you are tired of overcrowded hostels, where you can´t sleep and you have to queue to use the bathroom, Russafa is your hostel. All our rooms have double or triple beds and we have no bunks to avoid the overcrowding.
We have one bathroom for every three bedrooms. All bedrooms have street facing windows with a superb natural light and perfect ventilation. If you come with your partner book one of our rooms with double bed.
Our hostel is located just 5 minutes walk from the train station and the historic city center, with good connection to the 'City of Arts and Sciences' and the beach of Valencia. We are in an ideal spot for visiting the city of Valencia and its surroundings in a quiet pedestrian area where you can enjoy sunbathing on the terraces found under the hostel.
Our maid has been rated as Top Rated. Towels are included, as well as the change of sheets every 3 days, if you prefer the clean room 'in depth' all day.

One of the best hostal experiences I have had. Extremely great staff (manager told me all about Valencia and let me store by backpack at the hostal until my night train left the next day). Great breakfast, clean rooms and bathroom. Not crowded at all, and cheap! If in Valencia, stay here!!!

The hostel keeper is a very nice man. There's a lot of places to eat in the neighborhood. Several bus lines run very close by, and more run 2 blocks away. Good accommodations. Only granola and cornflakes, coffee and milk for breakfast.

nice and quiet place, near the centre. nice place!

  4. Sarah From Switzerland On November 30, -0001

The hostel isn't in the main centre itself but quite close also by foot. The owners are very friendly and helpful at all times.

I have to give near perfect marks to this hostel because it truly was outstanding. The man at the reception (whom I assume is the owner) was very friendly and had good recommendations. He also made sure to keep the bathrooms clean, and to ensure that the noise at night was minimal. Be warned though -- there's a curfew for most nights except, I think, the weekends. Shouldn't be much of a problem.

Overall this is a great hostel. - Paperwalls: VERY thin walls and the doors are made of frosted glass. Soundslike tha nighburs are in your room. And the street can be a bit noicy. Bring earplugs, and youll be fine. - No food allowed at the hostel, no kitchen. + Fresh, very clean + Good location, ok to walk home at night. Just across a church. + Friendly staff, provided us with a map and directions to where we wanted to go, first thing. + Provides bedlinnen and clean towells, of good quality! I recomend this Hostel, it is small but personal and nice. Again, clean. Great!

  9. Chiara From Italy On November 30, -0001

Maybe a bit expensive and "severe" for a youth hostel (you can not move beds or eat in rooms, there is no common kitchen nor breakfast...), but really really nice, new and with a personality, with every room different from the others, large and clean bathrooms shared between few rooms... and in a good position, close to the train station & the center and also quite near to the wonderful Oceanografic and Museum of Science! Last but not least, the owner is always nice and happy, great!

  11. Simone From Germany On November 30, -0001

The owner was very friendly and the hostel very clean and cosy. Early in the morning quite noisy due to the market next door.

  12. Arne From Estonia On November 30, -0001

Nice, small, modest, inexpensive hostal. Excellent location in the centre of the city, 5-10 min walk to train station, bus and metro lines, downtown (Plaza Ayuntamiento), fun and shopping areas. Caring staff for 24 h. Jose the host speaks good English which is quite rare in Spain and makes you feel safe. Reduced city noises, peaceful and clean inside.

  13. HADRYS From France On November 30, -0001

  14. Ulrich From Germany On November 30, -0001

i've stayed in quite a few hostels throughout europe, and Russafa is by far the best. it's even better than my home. the only problem i had was that it was a bit hard to find.

  16. caitlin From USA On November 30, -0001

This hostal was incredible. It was like staying at a nice european hotel. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hostal is a few blocks from the city center and a few blocks from night life which is a blast. The owners of the hostal were also amazing, very helpful and friendly. Please book Russafa!!!
