Having your own room in a hostel at the price is very good value. Only minutes from Alcaravaneras beach. Staff very friendly and helpful (Ciro) in fact to save me going up three floors to the kitchen to make tea he have me a kettle. Very helpful. Accommodation throughout is very clean.

A LITTLE BIT FAR FROM LAS CANTERAS BEACH (20 MINS BY FOOT) BUT CLOSE TO SUPERMARKETS,SHOPS AND ALCARAVANERAS BEACH.I ENJOYED MY STAY.

  3. Jana From Germany On November 30, -0001

A nice and clean hostel, worth the money. And it is rather a simple hotel than a hostel.

  4. julia From England On November 30, -0001

I liked the possition for the playa n shops.Kitchen o.k. too. Reception needs to be available more as people were rining the bell and asking me!

There was never anyone present at the reception. We encountered several sheets of paper to various persons that had arrived whose keys were left at the bar downstairs. The terrasse was out of use and the kitchen in a rather shabby state (not a single well-cutting knife). Also, someone stole our food out of the fridge. It should be indicated more clearly that food belongs to individuals and is not for everyone's use. Shared showers and toilet are located in the same room (one for each floor) and there was no hot water nor water pressure while someone else was taking a shower. The location is very good; in walking distance to the beach and the bars and also to St. Catalina Bus Station.

The room was great, the only problem is the kitchen was SUPER basic. No table or chairs in it, the location is very close to somce nice beaches if you walk north about 15-18 minutes. The staff were never around which was kind of annoying when we had questions...It also felt like a ghost town as their is no central meeting point or hangout spot in the hostal. Their is an exceptional restaurant named allende nearby!

I really enjoyed my stay last week end. The room was clean and quiet, the balcony had a view of the beach one block away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was usually some one to hang out with on the roof terrace next to the kitchen. Showers were good. Very good value.

Nothing special, but clean and for what you pay is enought.

  12. Pahl From Germany On November 30, -0001

In front of Alcaravaneras Beach, this hostel is a good and cheap place to sleep, the staff is very kind and they can speak several languages. It's near of the highway which leaves you on the airport with good communications with all GC's main sites. It is a bit far from the city center (Triana-Vegueta), but 3 minutes on foot there are many bus stops. The shared bathroom was cleaned several times a day, so you won't notice it is a shared bathroom.

Pretty Good Hostel. Single room size was good and clean. Area is ok is 10 mins walk to El Corte Ingles. Very Nice Cafe in next street Calle Italie though would have liked to know there was a kitchen on top floor which is on rooftop. Staff nice enough. Suggest they make nice communal area on roof or bike shop. OVERALL GOOD
