Got treated like shit by a black man working there, late night arrival, really tired, and had a discussion with him about charging me 4 euros more without any advance.
It should be clean at least at kitchen and toilets!The locker door are broken and it's quite noisey with the boys.They are quite disturbing!
Overall the hostel was very unclean with dirt and sticky surfaces. Location is nice but hard to reach with any local transport.
they made the room really better, with independant lights and connections. They need to work more in bathrooms comodities...
Loved this hostal. Friendly staff, clean and nice rooms, there is a fridge and a kitchen for you to prepare your meals. The only downside part is that you have to climb stairs in order to get to the street where it is located, but they give you several ways to get to the hostal based on your luggage's weight. All in all, I loved it and will totally recommend it, there many restaurants, fast food chains and supermarkets nearby.
If you are in hurry and looking for a quick place for sleeping, Mellow hostel is just ok for anyone. There was no air condition during the extreme summer when I visited (August), rather there was a ceiling fan blowing hot air. Breakfast with an extra price of 3 euro was okay for me.
A bit far from the Centre and also felt like being on top of Barcelona. But really great to be there.
Nice team, and helpful, on the top of a hill and very nice panorama of Barcelona is visiable! in short it is verygoood and highly recommended!
