Reasonable price and quality for the perfect location.
Initially I was assigned a poor room with a shared WC which was being repaired. I complained and the front desk person upgraded me to a nice room with WC/shower. There is an extra charge for use of wifi which can be used only in the lobby area due to reception limitation. Venice just added a 2 Euro tax which due to the hotel not being able to access my account almost led to a cancellation of my reservation. There is a nice little courtyard/bar area and hotel is in a nice pretty location. They seemed to be making some needed upgrades; hotel seems to have a lot of potential in the future. I had room 36,nice. No view from it, but I stay on the move. OK for the price I paid due to the upgrade at no added price. Lady at the front desk was gracious to make the needed upgrade.
shower room is dirty but room is clean,so I recommend the room which include shower.
Place was freezing!! Radiators in the room were off, while in hallway were working properly. Slept with all clothes on and still couldn't get warm. Bathroom was closed and staff seemed didn't want to give us a key - guy said it must be occupied. Well by whom if there were just us for the first night? Next day after 3 times asking they opened the door so we could take a shower and brush teeth. Breakfast is 4,5 and it's ok. Next time would rather pay more a little bit and stay at other place.
-couple missing tiles on the wall and 1 even has fallen from the wall when I was there -'hostel' room for only 3 people with own bathroom - quite nice - quite place - a bit distant on foot from the center but relatively close by boat. Walking distant to market with very good prices.
excellent Hotel, very kind personal.. i really recomend Alla salute da Cici.
THEY CHARGE ME ALL THE AMOUNT , PREVIOUSLY, IN STEAD OF TAKING JUST THE 10%, WHICH IS NOT FAIR AT ALL. IT WAS VERY VERY MUCH DIRTHY, BLANKET, GROUND AND BATHROOM, WHICH WAS ALSO VERY OLD AND NOT SAFE AT ALL(SPEAKING ABOUT EELCTRICITY SYSTEM).I BOOKED A ROOM WITH 6 BED AND BATHROOM AND I FOUND A ROOM WITH 7 BEDS WITHOUT BATHROOM! THE STAFF WAS VERY UNPLEASENT , I TOLD THEM ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS I FOUND AND THEY REPLY : "WHAT WOULD YOU ESPECT, PAYING JUST 21 EURO PER NIGHT?!"...THAT'S WAS REALLY TOO MUCH. I RECCOMMEND YOU TO DELETE THEM FROM YOUR WEB SITE , IS JUST AN ASHAME FOR VENICE ALL!
Great for price! The staff seemed too busy to help me, but for the cost it was worth it.
The man working the desk when we arrived was not helpful, not friendly, and spoke very little English. Our group was 4 and we were led to a room with only 3 empty beds, then he ran away immediately, so we had to chase him back to the front desk to ask him to remedy the mistake. He only got less friendly after that, and it was pulling teeth to get him to help us out at all. When we asked him if we could print something out, he flatly said it was impossible, whereas the lady who worked during the day just told us it would cost 50 cents. One positive thing was that when we checked out in the morning and our flight didn't leave until night, we were able to keep our luggage in their luggage room for the day.
Breakfasts is not included, they don't tell you will be charged for it until you check-out..
Hotel Alla Salute, It's very good, it's very clean and very quiet. If you want to look for a place that you read the book. It's very far from the station of Bus or the Train. There aren't the market near here. If you want to buy anything to eat for the lunch or diner, it's difficult. If you want to visite the place of saint Marco, you have to buy ticket 3 euro or 6,5 euro for passer by boat. But it's cheap when you want to share room (5 beds/a rooms)
My jacket was stolen. I think it was the concierge. If it wasn't, it happened in front of him in an empty lobby within 10 min un-attended by me at 1130 pm. No one else was around for miles. No one will help you there, but its cheap and clean and well located. Look out for your things. That hotel lobby is the only place in europe I've had something stolen.
There is no hot water in the bathroom..
An amazing cheap ostel in Venice. We were really surprise about the confort, we'va paid only 13€ by night for a 6beds room with a own bathroom. The place is very well located, and adorable. I just advise you to come and keep the adress !
Actually is hotel not a hostel so if youre looking for meeting youngh people is not the option, but it's a nice hotel, it's clean and venice is pretty small so the location is very good.
The shower was perpetually clogged. Too moldy and moist int he room, people kept coughing.
it's a hotel with some rooms made into hostel. attention, the price of the whole stay will be blocked on your card one month before! no lockeries, no keys (only one for a room exist, I didn't even see it), beds are not doubledacker and are made up by staff every day so you don't have enough place to put your things and may find yourself to replaced to another bed by new neighbours. No specially designed lounge except near the reception, that means you can find a party in the room. breakfast costs 4,5euro, though is good. Wi-fi is not free, but there is one free PC. Location is nice.
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was in a brilliant location and in a nice part of Venice. Quiet and away from the noise. It was very clean - clean linen, beds & blankets. I had a small but neat room which was super warm and quiet. Really nice staff and a real bargain. I'd recommend it to anyone. Its a budget hotel so not 5 starts but very affordable and decent. Highly recommended.
this hotel made my stay in venice perfect. it's located at a very easily reachable spot and only a few minutes walk from san marco's square. quiet and nice neighborhood. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
