Bella Venexia - Venice, Italy

Very friendly welcome, it was a surprise that it was not a big hotel, but a small hostel. You must mention in list that there are 2 rooms and a kitchen available. Makes planning easier. Perfect place for do-it-yourself travelers.

It was a fantastic location, waking up with the sea in front of you, and the stillness in the neighbourhood. We were glad that the staff agreed on a later check in time, although that needed some discussion. Further we think it's a good idea to mention the adress a little bit clearer on the site and the following email. The beds were good! And the facilities were fine too, a funny teapot with a sound that matches the surroundings!!

We was the second time here.The first time we was there with two adult and one child. Was no problem to have our child in one sleeping-room. The area is very quiet. Directly in front of the house its possible to sit outside with an nice view on the lagune. 2 minutes fare away from the hostel is the vaporetto-station "tre archi".We like this place very much and we will come next time again there.

Sea view, very nice place, small appartment with too rooms, kitchen.Kitchen and bathroom are OK, rooms - could be a little bit better, and also - there's no TV set

The position of the apartment is little far away to the train station, although it is not difficult to find out. The view outside the apartment is perfect sea view. The price is also reasonable. The security of the apartment is also acceptable.

I really liked the location of the apartment, on the water with sea views! It was also close some of the main areas. The room was adequate, as well as a large bathroom which is shared. It was nice having the kitchen to keep foods cold and to be able to cook. There is no internet available. I wish there was a place to store luggage after check-out as our flight wasn't until evening.

Nice hostel but without Breakfast

very satisfied; nice view of the laguna and the marco pollo airport - the water is meters away; quite place; 20 min from train/bus station; 5 min from boat stop, which takes you to train/bus station;

It was very nice hotel, I liked it very much, when I will be back in Venice, surely I will stay here again. Everything was clean, nice seaview, quite new and for two people who don't mind going little more steps to most important places in Venice it is great place to stay.

Good enough - basically a flat with two single beds stuck together. Having a kitchen was good, opposite end of the island to Piazza San Marco.

The location of Bella Venexia is wonderful : 2 minutes away from the next Vaporetto station, a beautiful view over the lagune. You can hear the noise of the boats passing by and the seagulls ! It's cheap BUT you have to pay for your breakfast and you can't leave your luggage at the hostel the day you leave : we paied 14€ for 2 luggages (!) at the train station for this service. It's possible that you find for the same price a place with a more friendly service.

very nice place- 5 minutes from the city-very quiet!!no noises at night. You have your own kitchen with all the facilities you need-the place is almost like home.You are only a few minutes walk from the center.Boat bus only 3 minutes.shops very close -and the best!!--if you open your window in the morning, you see the water. The blankets are not really warm-so you better bring your own.

The hostel is in Cannareggio, little bit off center, but that actually made us walk a little and enjoy Venice even more. The vaporetto is just round the corner. We got the keys and had 100% privacy during our stay. Everything was perfect.

Room was clean and nice to sleep in. Also liked the nice ocean view, we had really nice stay here. Also the kitchen saved us! made a nice little lasagne.( Venezia was a bit too expensive to eat every night out)

Over all a good experience!!

Cannaregio is a nice area, so I consider a good location to stay in Venice at a resonable price:5 minutes walk to the boat station and 30-40'by boat to San Marco.Staff could be friendlier, and decoration and furniture could be improved...seams a little bit shabby.

v.cheap and v.v.basic (take your own mugs!) but everything you need and in an excellent location. staying here saved us loads of money which we spent on fab things in Venice so we'd recommend it.

The location is perfect eventhrough it is not too close to the train station, but if u enjoy a walk beside the sea, that would be good! The house is clean and have a nice kitchen and beatuiful view of the room! The staff is really helpful, he suggested lots of good attractions to us and nice eating place for dinner! I would suggest to my friend if they go to venice!

A great place, in a quieter area away from the main tourist area. Views of the water from the bedroom windows. Great for a group of 4 travelling together.
