it is a flat of 3 rooms, in one of a room lives the owner. it is not allowed to use a kitchen, even eat in it, so it could be said, that there is no common room. you can not feel privacy, because you live in guy's flat together with him. owner is not very sociable and kind, but polite.

  2. Gemma From England On October 4, 2012

This "B&B" is fine if you literally just need a place to stay, the beds and fine and the bathroom was nice. However, the guy who rents out the 2 rooms in his flat (that's what constitutes the B&B) was very grumpy for no apparent reason. He wasn't at all welcoming and kept telling us off for doing certain things! The twin room was tiny, not much space for suitcases or movement! It is about 15 mins from Termini and the walk up to Piazza Spagna/Trevi fountain area is a straight line so nice and easy. But it takes about 40-50 mins. Also, what looks like a communal area in the photos is not, we weren't allowed to use the kitchen at all, except the fridge. But for just the essentials, it was fine. I can't say that I'll be going back there though...

Very authentic hospitality, reliable service, nevertheless low budget hostel - so don't expect more than that. We liked it!

Yes, it is close to subway, but thts it. We live in a flat with another italian family and another peaple that visit Rome. The room was to small, stinky and my girlfriend has been sick the first night. It was really non pleasure live there. It was also no living, only sleeping over. The mattress on the bed was somehow broken. In the bathroom was still wather on the floor after showering. Never ever this place.

It's a terrible little room for 2 person where you couldn't turn yourself with a bonkbed what horrible matrasses and the matrassupport was wornout. Instead of a breakfast what we should have included, they gave us €10,- for 4 breakfast, well in Rome you don't find a breakfast for €2,50. I would not recommand this room for privat 2 personroom, it's more a dormstyle and should cost much less.

This B & B Hotel is, I would say, very special. In our home, the owner has succinctly presented HIS apartment with a kitchen built for which it is totally forbidden for residents use, even for a cup of hot water. The bathroom is very dirty, no pressure in the pipes and rarely hot water, a trickle of cold water for washing. one towel a week. The room is dirty, the sheets too (long hair of a woman, black point, stained bedspread) dust under the bed etc .... we surprised the owner watching us through the hole keydoor. it comes to sleep on the sofa in the joint all night and shining light on which of our room.not breakfasts for seven days. it's a shame to offer such a place to touristes.il does not speak English except to ask for money when we arrived and he never spoke to us except you say "bonjourno".never, i, recommend this place unless insistently you target only the location and price.

This is not a hotel but a room in a private flat. This is not not a B&B too, as instead of a breakfast we received 10 EUR 'to buy breakfast'. Rooms are not cleaned at all. Bathrooms are dirty, with only freezing water. There was nobody available at any time, except for the check-in time. Good location, close to Termini Station and the Colosseum. Overall, we definitely do not recommend this place, regardless how small your budget is.

  8. Marta From Spain On June 7, 2011

In the B&B were missing the most important things: the privacy and warm water. The staff was no kind, no friendly, no welcomed us, he was sleeping probably in the sofa next to our room, which one day we found with the door wide open.

Room was clean but bathroom is not. It is very close to collesium and near to metro Line A.

  10. Franziska From Austria On September 20, 2010

Our room was really really tiny. There is just a small fan and no airconditioner - and so it is unbearable hot.The bathroom was clean, but the shower was icecold. The hostel is above a police station and it takes 15 minutes to Termini by metro. We wouldn't come back - too tiny and hot.

    Nice place to stay.

  12. Katarzyna From Poland On July 28, 2010

Hi:) In my opinion the room was clean and nice, breakfast was small but tasty (croissante, coffe and orange juice every day). The hotel is situaed near to metro station-Manzoni and 10minutes walk from colosseo. In a hostel there is no entertainment.

  13. Barbora From Czech Republic On July 12, 2010

the b and b is not located on the address given but in via torquato tasso 2a which itself created quite an awkward situation at the beginning but otherwise ok.

  14. Anna From Poland On April 6, 2010

T5he best of this hotel are kind people and its position- very close to the Manzoni metro stop. Rooms and baths are dirty and with a not very nice smell, generally we probably won't come back there.

  15. Tomasz From Poland On September 5, 2009

A very nice place to stay for that price. A small hostel in a quiet street within walking distance to most places of interest.

  16. Paulina From Poland On August 20, 2009

It was a nice, neat and cheap place, we had a big room with 4 beds just for the two of us. its very close to metro station line A and just 10min from colosseum.

  17. Isil From Turkey On July 16, 2009

The owners of the place were really nice, we did not encounter any problems during our stay. The entrance of the place is a bit hidden, just look close to the door bells and you will eventually find it.

  18. HONGYI From China On December 8, 2008

very good price, location, and staff!!

  19. Beata From Poland On February 8, 2008

quiet place, nice atmosphere, very close to the underground station. I recommend this place!

  20. Michele From Italy On July 16, 2007

Europe hostel hasn't any personality, and the staff is terribly unkind, rude and not available. I advice against this hostel. They change your location after the booking!!
