We loved this place. It was very clean, the lady who owns/works there (Laura) is very friendly and helpful. We arrived late so it took us a while to find the place but she patiently explained and waited for us while we wandered, but to be honest we felt stupid in the morning because it is only a FEW steps from Colosseum, but it was dark. The food is only a croasan and a (great) coffee, but for the money we paid it was more than we expected. The toilet was new and the whole room was cleaned every day (you don't get that in every hotel). It was a bit lowd (we could hear the people from other rooms) but we didn't mind the noise too much. All in all, we would go back there again!

Except for the guy getting nervous at checkout (he thought we were stealing the key =P) everything was great, the only place in italy where we found free internet.

  3. Victoria From England On November 30, -0001

Perfect for a quiet night in rome, great position and value for money. The room was small but I only needed it for sleeping. I arrived very late and it was not a problem. Highly recommend for short stays.

  5. Andone From Romania On November 30, -0001

Ideally located in the city centre, friendly staff, maps and directions provided, breakfast ok, internet connection ok, no contacts with other tourists (at least in January).Only problem:very weak light in the room.

hostel is located just few steps from colosseum, which allows you to meet all atractions using your own foot. via merulana is large and wide street where you can find supermarket, bakery - don't miss "panella", bus station, metro sation...hostel rooms are parts of apartments in beautiful building. we had our peace and enjoyment. even breakfast is ok. thay don't have restaurant but every day leave you croissant, cake and juice. wi-fi is present too, as well as desktop computer in the corridor of the apartment. don't expect luxury, but nice, clean, low budget hostel, for sure! 4th bad is double decker.

  7. Miguel From Colombia On November 30, -0001

It was a nice Overall experience, well located and close to colosseum, metro and buses are very close and the staff is kind but its located in another building across the street. The only turndowns are: - Breakfast: Coffe (from machine), little juice and a croissant (in a plastic bag) - Wifi: It doesn't work and they say every day that tomorrow will be fixed even if thats not true. But you have access to a shared computer where you can surf while standing because there is no chair - Shared Bathroom: There was not toilette paper for a whole day - Fun: If your are looking for partying theres nothing around the corner to get few drinks or dancing I guess you should expect that kind of things for the price

I visited Rome on my own, and searched for a save place. This Bed & Breakfast is perfect: in a busy street a quiet room in a hallway with 3 rooms, at the 3th floor, near station, busstops, etc. Free italian coffees, free internet, every day cleaning: where do you find such a place for such a price?

  9. Chang-Sheng From Taiwan On November 30, -0001

The location of hotel is very hard to find. The Office and the room is at different place. It is not convenient for customer.

  10. Efrem From USA On November 30, -0001

The hotel was lovely - a small room (with a tiny bathroom) that was completely serviceable and had charm. Breakfast was nothing to speak of - needed to get our own breakfast each morning. But the person who worked there was helpful and knowledgeable. The building was charming and in a great location.

we were 4 nights in Simmone b&b at november 2009.we find that the room was very clean, and the workers were very nice (and helpful with recommends of resturuants). the place's location is wonderful. the breakfast is a little poor but we didn't except for more then this in this price (50 E for double bed with private wc).

  14. David From England On November 30, -0001

By chance we arrived at the specified time not realising how important this was. We were met by a delightful hostess who spoke good English. She gave us a FREE upgrade to a room with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Everything was very clean and the room was quiet. Highly recommended.

  15. Thomas From Italy On November 30, -0001

Ciao tutti! We had a pleasant stay at the simone b&b. We were there for 4 nights and after the first night we were told to swap to another building for the next 3 nights. The room was way better than we have expected and very clean and neat! It's about 10 minutes walk both to the roma termini and to the historic centre the coloseo. Near by where we stayed there were few nice restaurants plus a very easy going bar we have found which is worth for going a try. You'll find a door that leads you to the basement/downstair kind of thing. Good beer and food! breakfast were included at the simone's with coffee, sweet bread, tarts. Everything were just clean and made us feel very comfortable. Thanks Simone! From: toscanian

  17. Johanna R.G. From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Availabilty to the internet was great, also a fridge and micro-wave were there to use. An automatic free coffee machine and sweet pre-packed croisants replace the breakfast.
