ABOUT US: Well now let's make some presentations and let's talk about your staying here: first of all I am Martina , the owner, and… you might be asking who is this turtle named Doralice!! Well, Doralice was a tiny turtle that used to live in this house and that one day disappeared from hers tub; since then nobody has found her anywhere ever ... so I like to believe that Doralice's soul is still fluttering in this house and, you see, once I've decided to open here a bed and breakfast, I thought it would be nice to named it with my tiny turtle's name...!

Well, that's all, I hope you will come and stay with us to our guest house the “Turtle Doralice”!!

To be sincere I only use for a couple of hours to sleep and never got to know the place or the people in the hotel. The hotel itself was nice, clean and cosy, the location.. can't really tell, was close to the train station to go to cinqueterra bat that's all I knew about la Spezia

Our visit to La Tartaruga Doralice in La Spezia was a highlight of the three weeks in Italy. Martina Bisciotti is a lovely host who has given the apartment all the practical things one needs, and also the feminine touch of a home. She was extremely helpful in all respects. The apartment is very well situated within easy reach of all the right facilities. We would definitely choose La Tartaruga again and recommend it to anyone. The lasy who runs this hostel was out of town so her mom was there to let me in and give us our keys. The owner left a note for me in english and although she wasn't there I still felt very looked after. The place is small and quiet and beautiful. Its next to a giant market as well that has wonderful things! i would definitely stay there again!
