Etnalodge is in Piedimonte etneo – Parco dell’Etna, 9 km from Giarre.
Once an ancient family wine production factory, today renovated as Etnalodge in Mount Etna Nature Park at the foothills of Europe’s largest active volcano. It is an ideal resort for romantic tranquility, family vacation, cultural tourism and trekking in Mount Etna Nature Park.
Guests are hosted in the South Wing Suite and in the Rooms.
Etnalodge is officially recognized as Hostelsclub as eco-friendly.
We thank Etnalodge for having solar sanitary water heating, a solar dryer for food, drying laundry in the sun. Having agriculture production that is biological, collecting rain water, use of non chlorinated water supply and recycle waste water. Plus having Electricity supply that is from wind mills!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were not big but clean and functional. The key features were our hosts who were great for a chat, advice and most importantly, food! Fantastic spot with a view of Etna.
