This is absolutely the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. It was more like a prison than a hostel with no soft furnishings and doors that closed noisily, the slams echoing down the hallway. Even breakfast was a miserable affair, white bread and jam, with coffee doled out by an unfriendly prison guard. I'd never stay here again.

  3. Andreas From Greece On November 30, -0001

apart from the fact that the beds have bed bugs it was a pretty dignified hostel. The location is very good, and the staff is friendly

Was for sure one of the worst experience while traveling of my life. I was alone in Florence and I'm aware that this made the situations worse but anyway. First, It is located on a grove and is far from the city (and public transport in Florence is expensive), so you take at least about 30m to be anywhere, walking is like an hour and something. I was there during the winter, so the sunrise and sunset was respectively around 8h and 16h and the path inside the grove to the building is not well lit and also in terrible condition mainly for the trolley wheels. So I was there always in the dark. But for me the worse was the reception, they don't have ANY care with you, you are just someone there. I went to rent a towel and wasn't none available left, although the place was creeply empty! All that they had was face towels and the guy didn't have any comprehension with the situation, I asked if they could lend me the face towel since they didn't have a body one for rent and he was super rude, telling me that if I want the towel I would need to pay the 2,5 euros. They also don't really have a kitchen, zero utensil, just a microwave and a refrigerator and far from each other. And There's no locker in the room. I couldn't be there for the second night, also because I would travel in the morning to Rome and to arrive at the station in time from there wouldn't be possible with public transportation, because of the time that it takes plus the time that it starts to work. Anyway, is personal, but if you are alone and the time of the day is short, DON'T GO THERE. And again, worse staff I ever saw.

the Hostel is located in a beautiful environment a bit outside the city center of Florence. Its great value even though rooms are quite small and matrasses are not the newest anymore. I woyld come and stay again!

Very strange location- far away from city center. The staff seemed like they didn't want to help and the entire place felt very unsafe and I comfortable. Would not recommend.

  19. Lisa From USA On November 30, -0001

The hostel of a thousand mosquito bites. In addition to the rugby match and girl-getting-slapped-around party (that's what it sounded like) that was happening outside our window at 2 in the morning, we couldn't close the window because of the heat. I had 24 mosquito bites just on my arms shoulders and face, I didn't count how many on my legs and torso. I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for one, moved to a place in the city with a fan and a door that I wouldn't get locked out of by my roommates.

  20. Aline From France On November 30, -0001

This hostel is quite far from the city, personal are not friendly at all. If you don't want to be kind with customers change your job ! Don't feel so safe !
