Mary and her son run this guest house on the 3rd floor. One block from bus and train station and 10-15 minute walk from everything worth seeing in Florence. Shared bathrooms but private room for hostel price makes this well worth it. On a noisy street and doors at a bit thin for quietness. Mary is hard of hearing so keep ringing bell out front or call phone number provided when arriving. Both Mary and her son were of great help and made Museum reservations for me. Bullet-fast free wi-fi!!

The location was great. there were a lots mosquitoes in the room. And, the room was too cold. I couldn't control it by myself. I caught a cold..terrible...

Very clean, very central with pleasant staff and close to the station. Highly recommended for cheap, comfortable and clean accommodation with no frills, and friendly managers. Pub next door is a little noisy at night sometimes, but closed windows keep out most of the noise.

I found the accommodation clean and staff very friendly. There is a draw back on the weekends, a very noisy after hours club that goes until 4:30am. I would stay again during the week.

very kind hosts, clean and quiet inside the house. maybe during summer the bar next door in the narrow street might be noisy if windows are open, but for me, for now it was fine.

I had a hard time getting Mary to come answer the door, and then I had to lug my heavy suitcase up 2 flights of stairs by myself. The room had its own sink but shared a bathroom with the other rooms. Clean but very basic. Very good location 2 min walk from the train station & 7 min to the Duomo.

This was a great, clean place to stay located conveniently near the train station. However, the walls were pretty thin and our room was near the office so we could hear the staff on the phone and doors opening and closing. Other than that, there were nice people that ran the place, but quite a few stairs to climb up to get to the rooms.
