We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is a gorgeous opportunity for a nice and cheap stay in Florence.

  2. mehtap From Turkey On February 5, 2014

I like its place. It is very close to train station. When we went to the hotel,it was 7 pm and we were cold. When we asked the reception she said after 8 pm she can open the heater. You can be cold in this hostel bcause after 8 pm heater is opened. It isn't enough for warming up.By the way, when we have some problems we couldn't find reception there. She lives that flat.So sometimes she is at hostel sometimes she is at her house.

I don't really recommended this place to anyone. The only good thing was the location but there were a lot of hotels in the same street that I'm quite sure are much better than this one. To start with, we had to go to the bar next to the hotel to look for the lady who was going to do the check in, once we got to the "hotel" the first thing that we heard were some people having sex…Our room was dirty, specially the toilet, there were no towels, the cistern was broken and they tried to charge us for the deposit that we already paid. To sum up, the place is awful!

a friendly lady receivedd at the reception and settled the payment. the location is good, close to the city centre and the Duomo. I was given a small room with sink and mirror. the handle of the sink was broken and a rotten smell came from the pipe.the window didn't close well. the light was very dim and the lamp near the mirror was broken. the bedsheets were clean. the toilet and the shower were outside on the corridor. hot water was available.

Hotel Etrusca almost denied my reservation on my arrival due to mess in their administration. Besides that, quiet and decent place to stay.

  6. aysegul From Turkey On June 8, 2013

private Wc is not private actually as you should pass the corridor in which you can come across other customers to reach your private WC

The hostel was located right in the center of downtown not too far from the train station which was convenient but the staff wasn't very good. She was nice but not there when you needed her. We had trouble finding her for check out and some people were trying to check in and waited over 30 minutes and even tried calling her. There was a no smoking sign in the lobby but there was a man who smoked there all day and all night so our room smelled of second hand smoke and the owner sat out there and talked with him the whole time. The bathroom was extremely small and flooded when you took a shower. I would not choose to stay here again for the price. I'm sure you could find something else much nice and around the same price in Florence.

The hostel was great, perfect locAtion, kind of hard to meet people. It looked dirty upon first appearance, didn't feel dirty though. Staff was excellent for the few minutes we spoke with him, gave us a wonderful map and showed us the main areas in Florence.

  11. Ingrida From Lithuania On March 18, 2012

The staff was really helpful and nice, but rooms ,at first glance, seemed dirty and it were not cleaned every day. Fotos of rooms look much nicer than are in reality.

  12. Rui From Portugal On March 9, 2012

Place is only a short walk from the town centre, just recommended if you need only a place to crash at night. Don't go by car, as there are no parking places for free and a close by parking cots 28€ A DAY

  13. Sabrina From Denmark On February 22, 2012

The Hotels position is really close to the train station, and to everything in the center. The room was really small and old, and could really use a renovation. Otherwise it was clean compared to the fact that the room was old! When we arrive the man in the reception was helpful with showing us the important places in Firenze. There was a televison in the room, but it didn't work. And it's NOT possible to eat breakfast there! Compared to the prices it was okay to stay there for two days :-)

  14. Ivaylo From Bulgaria On January 24, 2012

Nice, cosy, quiet place. Basic furniture but enough for a traveller. Perfect location, 10 minutes away from the sightseeings + GREAT HELPFUL ANGELA.

  15. DIEGO From Peru On January 15, 2012

I like very much that the owner was personally in care of all. i suggest to take more care about the bathrooms

  16. Irina From Russia On January 9, 2012

  17. Petra From Czech Republic On January 1, 2012

    Cold room

  18. Cole From Canada On December 22, 2011

Very well positioned between the train station and duomo (5 min walk). We loved the homemade pasta across the street and bakery. Markets are only a few blocks away. Small building, nice, tidy and clean. We felt very safe here.

  19. Marcelo From Brazil On October 11, 2011

It's not a beautiful place, but I had no problem there. I´ve stayed in a room for 5 persons and it was very small, anyway the room and the bathroom were clean.

  20. Kloud From Hong Kong On October 10, 2011

The staffs are really helpful. And the location is very good and convenient to go to the main spots. Recommend to all budged travellers.
