On the 1st of July 2008 it was inaugurated the Hostel of Biella, an exclusive and very charming property, formerly a prison, built in the seventeenth century, abandoned in the eighties and now completely renovated. Biella hostel is owned by the 'Comune of Biella' and managed by the social cooperation ANTEO.

Biella hostel has 36 beds, divided into single, double and quadruple. There's a good organization of the space, flexibility in hours of admission and the constant presence of operators to guarantee the customers comfort and privacy at affordable prices.

It's even possible to have a special price for organizations, associations, groups.

    This is by far the best hostel I've stayed in. Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful location and extremely affordable. My room, which was on the second floor, had a breaktaking view of the gorgeous mountain range beyond Biella. I really enjoyed my stay at Ostello di Biella and highly recommend it to other travelers. Only note: the hostel is located at the top of a hill, so be sure to take a taxi or the fumicolare...I walked with all my bags from the train station and boy was it a haul!
