Very nice and simple place to stay over night for a travelling company of students, for an appropriate price.

Clean, correct, staff a bit short in meeting questions, not overwelmingly helpsome, but ok. Located a good persion away from the city, wished more assistance in getting back and forth with buses. A cheap way of getting a good nights rest. best regards

it was only the second hostel that i have stayed in , in europe. I found the staff to be really friendly and helpfull. The hostel had a relaxed and friendly astmosphere as well as beginning lovely and clean. breakfast was a bonus, as i did not realise that breakfast was included, also having a fridge was great to store food and drinks. The postion of the hostel was relaxing with awesome views over the city and into bush land. If i ever visit Bergamo again i will defintely stay at the hostel again . Will also let other travelers aware of the hostel. Thanks for a pleasent stay.

We booked for 7 people and was given a private room with private bathroom and kitchen, it's above our expectation. The room is clean, hot water's running (you just need to turn the tap to max position before it runs), staff's quite helpful, kitchen & common room's huge, breakfast is good enough. Downside is that despite the beautiful location, it was quite far from city center (30mins bus #6 from porta nueva, which is 10 mins walk from bergamo station) and we have to climb many stairs to the hostel location from bus #6 stop. There are other bus from Citta Alta which stops directly at the hotel doors, so you can also take this bus and continue w bus #6 from hostel to city center. The 1 euro can (sweets, choco) machine did not always work properly.

It is a modern and nice hostel to stay. The only negative thing to say its a bit far out and you have to organize yourself a good bit to get there.

This young hostel in Bergamo is quite ok, 10 min. with bus from city centre. Direct bus connection (line 3) to the old town is a nice advantage. From the airport, line 1 to Puerto Nuevo (in city centre - two stops after railway station), then line 6 to Monterosso. Walk up the stairs, turn left and walk up another stairs.

The hostel was better than I had expected! It was nice and cosy, the staff was helpful. It is a pity that there is no kitchen, but refrigerator, microwave oven, and a big common area with a TV and comfortable sofa is given! Plus a balcony with nice flowers, would be great in the summer! Plus a glass elevator:)Its location is quite far from both lower and high town, what would not be pity if buses came after 20.30... All in all it was a good place to stay, except for the fact that one night I could not get any sleep, because there was a party going on, and nobody stopped it. So: an excellent place for party- people.

The only annoying thing really, esp.when it was cold & raining-the time we had to leave the hostel(by 10am) and hours(4) we had to stay out of the room...+there could have been more possibilities to order some food; a good place to stay otherwise.

The hostel was clean, comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast could have been a little more substantial. It's well located overlooking the old town and the public transport is efficient.
