This place (as the name suggests) is an apartment in a hostel, located within walking distance to the Budapest central area. The place includes a fridge, TV etc and the guy who ran it was very cool and helpful. Definitely reccomend if you want a place of your own or to share with friends.

  2. WAKI From Japan On November 28, 2012

The address was different, and not dormitory. It was one of the room in the small apartment, and not locked. Very chill because of too small heater only.

  3. Robert From USA On July 9, 2012

the place is very confortable and the staff is friendly and more similar at a family than a hostels...near the centre i certainly return there if i'll go at Budapest again

  4. Maria From Slovakia On December 5, 2011

in the room was very cold.

it is not a hostel like I know it from other countries or from Hostelling International. No reception, no special building but beds in rooms of several flats scattered mostly in the centre of town (for instance I did meet the responsible person in Iranyi u. but stayed in Vaci u., i.e. absolutely central! So actually Amiga Hostel is not a hostel but flat rentals as far as I experienced it.But nothing to say against it. It was even better, than the old style student dorm. I definetly recommend and go back soon

    Very good central hostel

  9. Tobias From Austria On December 14, 2010

The location was great and the staff was amazing. However there was a policy of no loud talking or speaking which definitely cut into the fun factor

  10. Peter From Slovakia On November 18, 2010

Nice spacious room, with cable TV. Not really a hostel as such - could do with a reception and internet access. Fantastic location though - 10 mins walk to the Danube and the majority of attractions/bars. Would definitely stay there again.
