Nice Stay in this hostel for 2 days. When i ask for help and directions for Merz & Porsche Museum, the reception girl was friendly giving directions. Got discount coupon for the museums too. The only problem i had is to locate the hostel when i looking for it on first day.

  3. Leonardo From Brazil On December 24, 2011

Excellent hostel, except from the fact that you have to pay for towels. The toilets are clean so does the showers.

  4. owen From Australia On December 15, 2011

This is a great little hostel, I would reccomend however if you are a light sleeper to be aware of the great looming church bells.

Actually I've used this hostel just for sleeping. Guys from the internet wrote that there is nothing to be seen in Stuttgart, so I've used my day there to visit Freiburg. But girl from reception helped me to find the way to get to Freiburg and was awaiting for me because I was checking in when reception is closed. There was a some strange guys in the room, I'm not sure that they are travelling, they were old and in the night it was hard to sleep because they were snoring hardly.

Nice place, nice people at the counter, clean, close to the center, but quiet, cheap. What more?

Awful directions, should state which exist to leave from at the S-Bahn Station otherwise the directions make no sense! (opposite side to the lifts on the LHS as you get off the train). Initial receptionist very unhelpful and a bit rude. She laughed when we mentioned the direction problem and the difficulties we had carrying our big bags (we had been living abroad for 3 months and were travelling back home from Italy to London by train with all our luggage) up their stairs without assistance. Beyond this, the hostel was well situated and the rooms were clean.

  12. Maria From Portugal On October 22, 2010

The hostel was really clean, bedrooms and bathrooms. There is the possibility to cook and a place to leave your food. You can reach the hostel by Sbahn but also by foot from the Main Station. I absolutely recommend it.

Good hostel. Metro is 2 minutes walk, and central shopping area with the bars around 5-10 minutes walk. It is one flight of stairs up. Reasonably clean. No internet computers but there is wifi. The bunk beds were pretty nice for a hostel actually and you get a large locker.

  14. Wangqing From China On September 11, 2010

Very Good Hotel, first time but amazing experience

  15. Joerg From Germany On August 14, 2010

This is definitely the best hostel in Stuttgart. (More or less, it's the only one, but really a good place to stay at!) Very big plus: There is a professional coffee machine (Italian style) in the lobby, here you get a Cappuccino (or two, or three) or what you want *for free* during breakfast time (without paying for a breakfast). Surroundings are a little degenerate (sort of redlight district). It should be no problem to establish a smoking area, but there isn't. :-( Outside you can't even sit anywhere. Good kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, oven, and microwave. Aldi discounter around the corner.

Very nice place to stay": beds new, toilets etc. new, few woman showers though, streetnoice (road!) can be well reduced by closing the windows, serene atmosfere: a lot of respect for eachothers reason of being there.

  17. Jon From USA On July 20, 2010

It was exactly what we were looking for - in a great location in central Stuttgart, close to many metro lines.
