Everything ok - the rooms are furnished up simple what is ok for the price and clean, some of the walls could use a new painting. The atmosphere is nice/convenient and the night was recreatice without any disturbance.

  2. Jari From Finland On November 30, -0001

Strict rules, but the staff didn´t obey those (smoking in certain places, silence at 22 etc.). Reminded more home of ten children family than hostel. All kind of stuff around lobby, stairway and yard.

  3. Jan Willem From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

The hostel didnt seem really prepared for individual guests, but more suited for groups. The price was exclusive breakfast, which was €7,00. It was a nice breakfast but still a bit pricy. But we mainly had a problem with the staff, that seemed to be not comunicating with each other about how long our stay was, weather we did or did not pay, etc.

Basic and clean! Great value for money. Best perk of this hostel: the two beautiful cats (Karma & Kali) who love getting attention from the guests. :-)

toilet and shower are inside the rooms, not standard for a hostel -> nice. not that convenient from the city center (half an hour with the tram and a bit of walking), but therefore very beautifully seated, near the Ruhr River and forest. very calm.

Nice Small Hotel close to Essen. Large dining room available to play on evenings during Essen Spiel. Very Quiet.
