Whether you wish to book theatre tickets or sight- seeing tours, our friendly and helpful personnel are available around- the- clock for your convenience. Indulge yourself and experience our bar which has a fabulous roof terrace.



FUN

We offer our guests numerous sources of entertainment within our hostel. Play a game of billiards or darts. We also have some video games you can play on as and when you wish. Enjoy a cool beer in our Premiere Sportsbar, sun yourself on our roof terrace at the “Trainspotbar” or chill out in our “Relax Lounge”.
Every Wednesday you can become a Superstar and join in our karaoke night.
Alternatively we have an in house sauna, which for just 10 € you can use throughout the day.

SOME GENERAL INFORMATION

- Ladies, in the event that you are an individual traveler and have booked a space in a multi- bed dorm we would like to inform you that we do offer ‘Shared Women Dorms’ if you would prefer.
- The hostel’s multi- bed rooms require full payment in advance and there is a deposit when renting bed linen (3 €) and hand towels (1 €). In double and single rooms bed linen and hand towels are inclusive.
- In all A&O hotel’s and hostel’s pets are allowed at an extra 5 € charge per night only in single and double bed rooms, please inquire beforehand.
- Conference rooms and technical appliances are available, please inquire beforehand.

CHECK IN 3 p.m.
Reserved rooms shall be available for occupancy from 3 p.m. on the agreed day of the client’s arrival. The client shall not be entitled to occupy the room(s) earlier than this.

CHECK OUT 10 a.m. (11 a.m. at the weekend)
On the agreed day of departure the client must vacate the room by 10 a.m. at the latest. If the client does not vacate the room by this time we shall be entitled to charge 50% of the full room rate as published in the price list until 6 p.m. for reasons of non-contractual occupation, and if the client vacates the room after 6 p.m. 100% of the full room rate will be charged. This shall not constitute any contractual claims on the part of the client.



CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Until the day of arrival until 6 o’clock pm (local time hotel/hostel) free of charge. There is a cancellation fee of 100 percent of the first night, should the client cancel the room(s) after the aforementioned cancellation period or in a case of non-arrival. It’s the same for short-term bookings, within two days before arrival.
Any discounts or special offers booked through online booking engines are irreversible.

- until 4 weeks prior to arrival date 50% of the agreed total price
- until 8 days prior to arrival date 75% of the agreed total price
- from 7th day prior to arrival 90% of the agreed total price

We will debit 50% of the agreed total price 8 weeks or less than 8 weeks before arrival from your credit card.

    The staff are very professional, they can solve any problems and get the best suggestions. I love the idea that in big room (8 beds) we have the bath-room with shower. By the way, the view from the windows at 526 room is absolutely great. You see all the train station and night Berlin.I love this hostel, if they were little bit expensive (15 Euros for bed) with the breakfast in that payment, it would one of my favourite hostel:)

    The room where I stayed was clean and large. And What is most important is so near Zoo staition. So it was so easy to find this hotel. But instead of it, trains are noisy all night... In Berlin trains are served even around midnight. But if you bear only this, this hostel will be a your good choice.

    All people in the reception were very rude, had no young spirit for helping and making fun as you expect in a hostel. We had several problems regarding to pay, to rent towels, sheets, everything was complicated at the helpdesk.

    OK regarding location, price, breakfast, some of the staff.. not OK regarding the rooms - very little space or not at all, can be really cramped, the windows can't be open, etc.

    It's not far from Hauptbahnhof and is located closely in the station of Zoologischer Garten. That's why it is noisy in the whole night. No free internet.

    Bigger hostel, therefore not that cosy and more difficult to meet people, but okay for a city-trip with friends. Location near center. Beds are really noisy and worn out, as are sheets+pillows.

    excellent popsition:the hostel is sorrunded by pubs,fast foods,the zoo garden,metro stations (S-bahn,U-bahn) and shopping malls.It's fairly clean!There is a nice terrace bar in the hostel... unfortunatly the blond girl of the staff is very unpleasent,not kind at all!however I suggest it to young people!!

    The hostel has a very good position. It is close to almost everything. You can make a great tour on foot starting there. It is a great place to stay in if you are planning a short visit to Berlin.

    Nicely placed at Zoologisher Garden trainstation. 5 min walk to Kurfurstendam if you are in to international shops and prices. Main attraction at this place gotta be the terasse with bar and the cool atmosphere untill 12.00pm wheres got to shut down because of noice. Its not a good Bar area around the hostel, closes around 2.am bun since trainstation is right next , its allrigt. Cheepest price if you order from hostelclub.com. Have a nice stay :-)

    The only negative thing was that there was no airconditioning in the 10-bed room. It was too hot with that many people, even though I slept next too the open window.

    This was a bit of a change from the A&O in Dresden. The location was great, if you don't mind taking the U-bahn or S-bahn at least 2 stops to get places (I just bought the Berlin City card A&O offers, so no problem there). The staff, for the most part, did not particularly want to be there, and I felt more like a number on a computer at this hostel than I have ever felt in even a chain of hotels. The rooms were ok, but, as they weren't cleaned often, the bathroom got kind of nasty. Fairly good value for the money, but next time, I think I'll be paying four Euros more to stay someplace else.

    they didnt respect my reservation... make me wait a lot and at the end i pay more than the price it says here... it was a cheap place actually BUT they need to be clear (whit the prices and the online reservations) i think... the location is good and the place is ok..
