Nice and clean, good location, free WiFi, ok breakfast, no lockers, street noise, not enough ventilation and hot water pressure in bathroom. As always a lot depends on your roommates. Overall good place to stay.

Everything fine. Bed a little squeaky, though! Also, beer was expensive :(
Location of the hostel is away from the city center, but I think that actually worked out better. Proximity to the Gare du Nord is also helpful when trying to get to the airport. Nice view of Sacre Coeur cathedral. Relatively quiet so you can get a good night sleep. Beds are not the best in the world. I would recommend it overall despite being relatively higher in price.
Excellent hostel beautifully positioned and well run, friendly atmosphere but quiet at night which is important. Great included breakfast but very limited cooking facilities unfortunately - only two hotplates and a microwave. Beware of the airport shuttle that is advertised there. You pay the price but once you are in the bus the driver demands more or he will only take you to the bus station - a real rip-off when you are on a tight schedule and have no other options. I don't know that the hostel is aware of this happening. Bill Collier
