Courtyard should be FULLY CLOSED and ENFORDED by staff after 11pm far to noisey with so many DRUNKS at 2am etc Sleep impossible on ground floor

Staff was amazingly friendly and it was a very cute place. The rooms and commons areas were smaller than other hostels I've stayed in though.

I stayed in the hostel from 22.05.14 till 28.05.14. This was my first experience with hostels and it was great! All public areas and rooms and cleaned well daily. Bed was very comfortable, especially after long walking day:) Location of the place is nice. Till Notre Dame 30-40 minutes walking, but it can take you longer because of a lot of beautiful places on the way. There is a WONDERFUL park near the hostel with a great view and waterfall. Nice bar "la terasse" on the boulevard Belleville where you can smoke shisha(water pipe). They have a bar in the hostel with a happy hour, so you can enjoy your drink with a reasonable price and meet new people from all over the world. Rooms are nice, not big but cosy. There is a safe box in the room. You can rent a towel, so you don't need to take it with you from home. For me was very important that I could leave my luggage in the hostel after chech-out. And, of course, I should mention the staff. Incredible team of very polite, friendly and ready to help people. Special thanks for Max and Fernando. I will definitely recommend The Loft!

Its pretty new, we had a own bathroom in our 4 bed room wich was very clean. They speak proper English, this isn't obligate in Paris ;). Some stylisch launch area (with couches an so on is missing).

Hostel itself was pretty standard. Only thing was the bunk beds were really shaky, so if someone moved, both beds would shake quite a bit. Would be nicer if there were more bathrooms since 8 people shared 1 toilet and 1 shower, but it wasn't too bad. Also, I arrived at the hostel pretty late, around 1:00am, and didn't have cash on me but there was a 5 euro key deposit. I offered up my passport as a temporary collateral, but instead of accepting that and letting me pay in the morning, the person at the desk said I had to go find an ATM. Normally not a problem, but being a girl traveling by herself and out on the streets in a new city at 1am, searching for over half an hour for an ATM was not the most fun. I was pretty frustrated about that. Location can be a little bit sketchy at night, so just stay alert.

Really nice, clean and safe hostel. Area surrounding is a little intimidating but if you go up the main street (opposite the direction of the station) there is a beautiful look out and dinner place. Beautiful court yard. I would go back :)

It's new, fresh, exciting, cosy and close to the city. Nice staff, clean and neat rooms, they sell beer at the desk and there was nothing I didn't like, which is great, at least for a hostel in Paris :-)

It's a good hostel, with a friendly staff. Doesn,t have a common area, and for that people continue talking loudly even after 11 pm below the windows. Breakfast could be better also, but in general is a nice place to stay!
