I was booked hostel in London 31/05-03/06 .I went to there already closed hostel (not hostel) but confrimation e-mail and before reservation fee around€10. Why, already not hostel was put on website ?? (other people in there, they said 2weeks ago ,Closed hostel.) so strange this case. Please explain about that. And I was already send to e-mail,but no response.

Next time i will book this hostel again, but in a room with less than 10 beds

  3. Xuanyue From China On June 29, 2012

My first stay at a hostel, it was not bad and I think the staffs were friendly enough, one staff gave back the deposit to me and another staff lent me a scissors to cut photo.

  4. Malgorzata From Poland On May 10, 2012

Dirty rooms, kitchen and toilets !!!!!

  5. Michael From USA On May 3, 2012

Thanks for dropping my reservation during a peak travel time. There were no available rooms anywhere in the city due to a cycling event and London Brisge Hostel decided to drop my reservation and leave me with nowhere to stay for my 2 day stay. Don't even bother with these people if you have any other option.

  6. levin From England On April 29, 2012

this was the worst experience i have had with accommodation.we turned up and the staff said they didn't have our reservation although i showed them the confirmation email.they also said they were fully booked and effectively kicked us out at half past midnight without our deposit.the staff were rude and offered no help.we ended up calling around and finally found a hotel at 2am seeing as it was a weekend and everything else was booked.all in all the hotels for the weekend ended costing £330 which wasn't budgeted for.i will be talking to appropriate authorities about this issue.

  7. Lucas From Brazil On April 9, 2012

3 showers available in the 2nd flor - none of those were working. The light of my bed (203 A) is broken.

  8. Mari From USA On April 8, 2012

would never recommend- so many things went wrong. I came home one night to another girl sleeping in MY bed and my stuff shoved into a corner b/c they "lost my reservation." On the very same night it happened again! Not only did they not say "sorry," they acted like I was insane for requesting a towel at night (clean them more often then if you run out??) when I couldn't use mine because IT WAS STILL ON MY OLD BED and there were no overhead lights so I couldn't even find it that night. If you ask them q's about the tube or trains they know less than I did after 4 days. Internet- even the paid internet- was really off and on. :(

  9. Teppei From Japan On March 16, 2012

I cannot connect to the internet for the first 2 days. The bed is too small.

  10. mohamed hassan From Egypt On December 8, 2011

Lack of kitchen utensils. Poor maintainance of toilets.friendlt stuff. Felt safe.

  11. Denisa From Czech Republic On November 14, 2011

Dirty and smelly place(it depends on people who live there). Staff are kind, helpful and friendly.

  12. Mariana From Bulgaria On November 14, 2011

they forgot to mention that the check in begins from 14h we understood that on the reception. Otherwise there is some kind of strange smell in the hostel , but in general I think it is ok . It is strange that u have to change your room, we were there 3 nights and the first one was in one room the next two nights in another.

  13. Amandine From France On November 5, 2011

I loved it. Even if the space for customers was a bit small, because of the number of beds in each room. (which is understanding when we see how cheap it is) We met some cool people, and didn't have any problem with the staff, who was disponible and very nice. And I find it amazing how many languages they can speak.

  14. Emmanuel From Ireland On October 17, 2011

As the hostel was located very well and it was nice they had a bar downstairs where people could meet up, the toilets and bathroom wheren't in a good state. The rooms where certainly ok. As I checked out 30 minutes too late they took away my 10 pound deposit which made me angry. The Spanish girl working there had a very false and unfriendly way and it even seemed like she was enjoying the fact. For a hostal where a lot of young people come I found that very disappointing. All by all it couldn t ruin my great trip to London

Very nice place. Nice personel and nice quiet place to take care of business on the net (such as looking for permanent room)

  16. Luise From Germany On August 2, 2011

the air was thin and hot in the sleeping dorms, maybe it's possible to make the windows more accessible

  17. Jana From Germany On July 11, 2011

The 15-bed-dorm is really crowed because there isn't enough space for so many people, and not enough fresh air! That's the big disadvantage, but the rest is ok for the money. It's also easy to reach by tube even though the area is not really friendly - I felt not really secure in the street...

  18. DANIEL From Mexico On April 1, 2011

Oh that Hostel sucks!! I mean when you are looking for a hostel you don't expect to be sleeping on a presidential suite, but the atmosphere and the staff in the hostel are the worst people I have ever met, they are not friendly, not helpful at all, seems that they get upset if you ask for the best way to get around town, seems that everyone staying there had to check out and move to another bedroom with all your stuff every single morning (at least me & other 5 travelers had the same situation) in resume the staff in there they do not know the words "Customer Service" Please, Just DO NOT stay there!!! Seriously!!!

  19. Isabel From Portugal On December 6, 2010

Great Hostel, very friendly ppl!The underground is 6min walk(Kennington in central line), also in front of that underground has a bus station that also have connection with liverpool station. Beds has curtains and a lamp. breakfast has toasts, REALLY GREAT MILK lol, lots of different cereals :D .If i return to London, for sure I'll stay in that hostel again. Oh, and it is also a Pub at night!REALLY GOD!
