Thank you!
I had a room shared with 5 other girls. The room was so dirty. Food everywhere! The window was broken, the closet was broken, the matress was bigger then the bed, it smelled like pee in the room and it was a mouse running around in the room, eating on stuff under the bed. The worst hostel ever! I checked out a few hours later! NEVER GO THERE! I RATHER SLEEP IN THE PARK OUTSIDE!!!
I have not seen worst accommodation in my life. The room was extremly dirthy, especially beds and sheets...
Dolphin Inn is a good place for short stay. The location is good. The toilet is clean, but some washbasin is too small. The toilet on the third floor is spatious! The biggest problem is the bed in room 881, which is shaking while you are sleeping and moving. And the sponge mattress is too soft to have a nice sleep. Why not change for some harder mattress?
ok if you just want a place to sleep. nothing else... there's not always someone at reception, we were in 4th floor- no elevator. it was hot. In the shower, there's no place to put towels etc. and the door doesn't lock.
very cheap and so close to Oxford street. it is better for younger people, because we felt like at school.
Close to pubs, kfc, McDonalds etc and 2min to tube station! Nice park outside. Climate - just like in students house!
The placement of this hotel was excellent, close to buses going downtown and close to Paddington Tube station. The room at the Dolphin Inn hotel (the hotel part at Norfolk Square 32) wasn't that great. The bed was awful and you would wake up everytime you moved because of the noise the old springs in the bed made. The staff was ok and very helpful. The hostel part of Dolphin inn (called The Lodge at Norfolk square 34) was actually way better than the Hotel part. The bed was SO much better and the staff was excellent! They were really helpful. So if you are staying at the Dolhin inn I would actualluy suggest the Hostel part, even though the guests are mainly backpackers that party a little bit more than family-folks. Plus the prices are lower at The Lodge :)
It's a "working-hostel", cheap and good location but not to spend too much time inside.
Okay experience, though bed was horrible! A decent breakfeast, but not enough seats.
