This is NOT a hostel. Some lady in an apartment building leases two apartents, lives in one and rents the other one. We got into Vienna at 11pm and couldn't get into the building, and the landlady wouldn't answer her phone to let us in so some nice people helped us up to the seventh floor in some dimly lit hallway to find it by midnight. Also the wifi doesn't work and she told me that was somehow my problem?? We only stayed in Vienna one day cuz of this lady. Super sketch and misleading on the Internet posting. Far from Vienna, take a bus and a train.

The hostel is located 2.9 km away from city center and it has good conditions. About staff, there a single person who took care of us but totally unfriendly. We couldn't see a little smile on her face and the attitude was ... As a conclusion I recommend this place. For us the important thing was that we had a good time and place where to sleep.

The location is good, however the lady who took care is hopeless and she is not co operative at all.

This is NOT hostel! This is shared room in private flat. Owner charging extra, 15€ for cleaning, but on the floor I have seen cockroach. Shower was brocken, in kitchen only cold water, stinking fridge. Owner, when everyone is out is "checking" room (she forgot to close door). I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY THERE. Wyglądu i zapachu lodówki szkoda komentować. Gdy w pokoju nikogo nie ma, właścicielka wchodzi i robi "kontrole". Wychodząc zdarza jej się zapomnieć zamknąć drzwi. Szczerze odradzam wyboru tego hostelu.

fairly good in all fields however if we can get improvement in the following points it will be better. 1. provide a little more toilet paper. 2. provide a convenient way to talk to hotel management for the traveler without cell phone. Thanks.

This is not a hostel. Just a room in a aweful region in Wien. Quite hard to find also. The room actually does not look so bad. Two beds and kitchen with bathroom. But the lady had here stuff in our fridge and we should pay 15 euro for cleaning which was not declared anyware in advance. The lady was very unfriendly and in the end we didn't stay there. As there was no hostel free anymore we stayed in the Hotel Kugel. More expensive but every Euro was worth it.

The room we were ment to have was double booked the hotelier did not make an attempt to contact us regarding this. The week when we went there was something going on in Vienna and virtually not hotel rooms available to us. The only ones being way over our pricve limit (250 Euros) We were left without a bed for the night.

All was okay apart from that the shower didn't seem to work and didn't have time to find out how to fix it so couldn't get showered.

  9. diego From Italy On July 22, 2009

nice room, very clean. it's at 10-15 min (by feet) to the nearest subway station (or 3 bus stops)

Awful. Absolutely awful. Some lady cancelled my reservation two days before I got to Vienna, all of a sudden. So I had to sleep on the sidewalk of a snowy Vienna with my girlfriend. I vomited twice, and when I woke up my girlfriend was dead and frozen like Leonardo DiCaprio in the Titanic. They also did not send me my 7 euros back, which I had to give in advance. Never book a place in that hostel. They will probably be talking to my attorney soon.
