It's a real good casa, the ac was optimal and the room cool and agreable. We enjoyed the rich breakfast. And it's not at all far to the old center.

  2. Alison From Ireland On November 30, -0001

Beautiful house with an extremely helpful & lovely family. They organised a pick up from the airport for us & helped us organise trips etc. beautiful house for our first stay in havana.

  3. Fiona From England On November 30, -0001

We really enjoyed our stay at this casa, close to major attractions of the city, really helpful staff. Hector was fantastic especially in helping me sort out our return flight to Cayo Coco. The casa is really beautiful, it feels safe and you can walk to the sea as its just a couple blocks away. Food and breakfast are really tasty, basic very reasonable, nothing fancy but this is real life Cuba. Highly recommend this Casa!!

  6. Helen From Australia On November 30, -0001

Our favourite casa in Havana for getting a feel for cubana culture. Great balcony to sit on like all the neighours do in the evening and watch the world go by. Good breakfast. Clean, ok warm shower and aircon. Good restaurant palador asahi a few blocks away. Yali was very flexible when we needed to change our booking. Everyone very friendly

  7. GY YOONG From South Korea On November 30, -0001

The casa host is very rude and unkindness. The gates were so unconvenience. Middle gate was always closed. I can't recomend travler.

  8. Davor From Canada On November 30, -0001

Stayed with my girlfriend. We had an ok stay in Havana, but I unfortunately we got whisked away to stay at the neighbour's house. I think they were over capacity. Our bedroom had no windows and the bed was very old creaky. Our host was passable at best. Not very warm and set a curfew for us as she would not give us the key to the front door. Yali, however, was very helpful in recommending us a great casa in Trinidad where we had a great experience. Definitely better value out there. Wished we actually stayed with Yali.

Stayed here at the beginning and end of my trip and must say The information, the welcome received in this hostel was really good. Help organizing our trip around cuba, advice of where to buy the best cigars in town was given by the family. A place not miss during your visit in Havana.

beautiful colonial house, clean room with facilities even a safe box !! the family is very helpful, I was given advice of Havana and Viñales, very good tips. Very comfortable rooms and the food was also delicious. A good start in Cuba

We stayed in this Casa after finishing our trip around Cuba and it was by far the worst. Room was clean enough, but the bed gave both of us really bad back pain, so much so that we checked ourselves into a hotel the following night. The air con unit also had a fault which meant it made a horrendous noise every time you tried to change the setting. All this added up to one of the worst night sleeps we've ever had. The owner, whilst not quite rude, was by far the least friendly we'd experienced. It was a frosty reception from start to finish. The breakfast was also poor compared to other Casas we'd stayed in. It had more of a cheap hotel feel than a Casa, and is overpriced at that.

  12. paolo From Italy On November 30, -0001

great house and staff, centric location, the house its a beautiful colonial mansion with great high ceilings, we came back at the end of our stay and they kept the room for us even for only one night, so they respect the booking, something strange in Cuba. The breakfast and food was also good , very specially the night of arrival if you do not feel like going out after a long trip.

  15. Virginie From France On November 30, -0001

The taxi driver really struggled to find this place but after a rather stressful journey, we were welcomed by the friendly owner. The room was nice enough and spacious. Shower wasnt too powerful though and hot water was running out pretty fast. The location is pretty good, only 20mn walk to the old town. Be aware there isnt much around though if you want a bite to eat, best to head straight to the old town, the casa does pizza and pastas for dinner if you fancy staying in. Breakfast was ok, very healthy. Taxis can be arranged through them but if you want do excursions, you will need to go to a tourist information desk at any major hotel or cuba tour office.
