Our aim is to help Backpackers to travel easily in Taiwan and we are also welcome to the budgets tourist for business trip, vacation, sightseeing, studying or staying..... You just have to respect one rule, please, leave your own rules at home and open your mind to enjoy the different customs, foods, peoples and lifestyle of Taipei. Provide you a great new experience, this is what this is TaiwanMex made for.

We have two building and two independent mini house, for the most budget friends. Our TaiwanMex's places are small & simple , but have complete equipment to make you feel like at home.
The first TaiwanMex is located on the 2nd Floor. It has bunk bed share rooms, two share bathrooms, calm and peaceful cause the rooms do not have windows.

The other one is located on the 9th Floor, one minute walk from the first building. It has Single Private en-suite room,Queen private en-suite room, Four beds en-suite female shared room and Four beds private en-suite room , In the room have Bathroom,TV,AC,Free WiFi and Privacy,In the house have Free PC,Telephone,Refrigerator,
Wash Machine,Drinking Water...

The third building just behind the Taipei Main Station,
Queen private en-suite and twin private en-suite room.

We speak Chinese, English and Spanish and we are your friend here to help you do anything, get anything, or go anywhere you Like it and you want it !!!

    REALLY RECOMMENDED, you do NOT need anything more. One tip: Do NOT take MRT from Taipei main train station, it is JUST ONE stop on the RED line. Ask locals to show you the undergound walkway, it is no more than 5min walk (not worth the 20TWD for the MRT).

    Its a really nice place to stay! Tidy and clean, got everything u need like fridge and converter. But the air con is quite weak so u may feel a bit hot sometimes but they still got a fan in the room. Overall its comfy to stay and very convenient for travellers!

    Great location in the very downtown, super clean rooms equipped with all things that you might probably need (like a microwave, soap and clothes hangers) and very polite, helpful staff - we've enjoyed our stay at this hostel a lot!

    The location is superb. We got the family room so we had the place to ourself. However room cleanliness is up to the client. Sad to say I had chicken pox im not sure if its the taipei air or the room has virus.

    I like this place, near to convenience stores, restaurants, MRT station and tourist attractions. One thing I did not feel comfortable was shower in the hostel, the water pressure was too low...

    This is maybe not the most comfortable place, but it's friendly to travellers. If u r backpacker this is a very good adress. Just at the railway and metro station, with helpful ppl.

    The owner is a very nice and helpful lady. She would try her best to help the fellow travellers to solve their problems. I recalled one night, when I went back to the hostel at about 12am midnight, I chatted with her while she was looking for a solution for a traveller to clarify the itinerary and how to take the High Speed Rail from Tauyuan airport... the traveller had not even checked in the hostel yet... I was really touched by her attitude of going for an extra mile to help the visitors to Taiwan....

    We couldn't actually check in until about five pm, which was a little annoying, but understandable when you stay at Taiwanmex. The atmosphere is very laid back, with some long-term residence and short-termers that come and go. Everything is surprisingly clean for the price. I had a great stay there, and I can actually see myself becoming one of the long-termers.
