This hostel was the worst of the 6 we stayed in while traveling in Ireland and Scotland. Very dirty - sheets and comforters had hair all over them, bathrooms were gross, only 1 shower worked, no one was ever on duty (except when we arrived at 10 PM). No brochures or help to learn about Glasgow. Large lounge with noone in it.

  2. Holly From USA On November 30, -0001

The place smelled of smoke and dust (which it turns out is because of the owner who puts his cigs out in the toilet and leaves them there). My bed had other people's hair on it and I had to sleep in my clothes because they didn't turn any heat on. To top it off, there was no hot water and if there was, you wouldn't want to use the showers anyway.

-one toilet didn't work, other toilets the stall doors didn't lock, always water on the bathroom floor, besides storage lockers there really isn't much security, staircase leading to rooms very dark, potentially dangerous, shower water only cold and no pressure, no soap in bathrooms, not a pleasant smell in the place, sorry i hate to say this because the staff was so nice but had to put my honest opinion out

le service est genial. Un bon rapport qualite/prix, je reviendrais ici si je dois retourner a glasgow. Our group, five of us are staying on for four more nights. We rebooked because we like the hostel and the city. The website www.glasgowhostel.pl has accurate pictures as do www.besthostels.biz

Value for price as nothing as cheap and value for money we hae had in other hostels in england.SCotland and scottish people are above the english;-different

Do not stay at the Bluesky ,stay in this happy, welcoming www.glasgowhostels.com.The people treat you as humans not weapons for a sick mind. You have been advised from experience

top marks for sorting out a mistake i made in booking myself in twice on the same night and on arrival it was no problem to sort this out. The place is very comfortably fitted and heated throughout, which was very welcome as it is really cold outside.www.french.glasgowhostel.pl and www.aubergeecosse.fr uses hostelsclub booking agency and it is very good value for money as booking with hostelsclub is cheaper the reception price.having great stay thanks

should be able to give 110% BECAUSE MANY ASPECTS OF THIS HOSTEL WERE BRILLIANTLY ABOVE HOSTEL STANDARDS.Thick sprung mattresses, thick comforters, duvets in europe and central heating thruout, the breakfast of tea, coffee'n toast was complemented by boiled eggs, cold meats, cheeseboard and tasty sausages on cocktail sticks along with a selection of peanut butter, chocolate spread and jam preserves. This was no ordinary breakfast at just any backpackers hostel. This was run by experienced backpackers for travellers and it stood out as a badge of quality that others may imitate but i have not been to any that have surpassed it.Ever I note the breakfast was not advertised yet its better than many places that do. The free wifi was much appreciated but computers were available for the dinosaurs who still dont have a laptop and i would recommend other indy hostel operaters come see how it should be done.Would i recommend this, well we rebooked does that answer your question.? On the downside a fair bit of out of season maintance was going on but it didnt disturb us,the newly installed steam room showers were a dream to backs unused to weighty backpacks or even those who have been cramped on a budget flight. The location is the bees knees for sights and the best nightlife.

rebooked for two more nits its actually cheaper to book thru www.hostelsclub.com great group of people and dicounts for musicians with instruments. a fun niche in a great location.take advantage of the free internet 5 computers so you get a long time ,also great brand new steam room showers. La puta madre!having a great time in a great place with great people.Watch out for Gila, she speaks seven languages and can tama su pello en todos!!!!! muy duvertido.

A cheap place to stay, but the showers could do with some work! Staff were really helpful and friendly, would recommend it for those on a budget.

top marks for a hostel guia del paraguay and if you could give 110 % for location I would. All you want in city and in westend is walkable ,and the introducing of new people to others takes the edge of arriving and not knowing anyone. If this is hostel life who needs 5star hotels. Dorms were big but spacious with only 8 beds and a good buffet breakfast.Go early for breakfast.

all was ok. We spent pleasant time there. In the kitchen we could prepare ourselves meals, we could watch the TV in the living room, etc. Nice staff.

my stay was a very short one, however, as soon as i arrived i was given a warm welcome by the staff and a tour of the hostel. I was travelling on my own but thanks to the cozy sitting room i met many different people. There was never any que for the bathroom as the hostel have more than enough the same goes for the showers.one has all the faciliies they need and more! i felt like i was happy to go back to the hostel after my day in glasgow and you can't say that about all hostels.

  17. Iwona From Poland On November 30, -0001

Really cozy and nice place :) Not so far from main streets with pub's and shops. I don't have any reservations about this hostel - especially about the price ;)
