Potentially a good riad , but very let down .Plumbing very bad - shower hose broken ,poor drainage ,dirty and chipped. Standing in dirty water ! Sink mirror cracked .Electric points in en-suite very close to running water and i doubt RCD . Broken flush on toilet .No air conditioning . Simply a broken noisy fan. Some electric points not working and some exposed poor wiring .Young lady in charge mostly absent and the only one of 3 persons there who could speak English or French well . A lovely delightful Morrocan girl did her very best ,but did not easily understand .She was new and learning , but needed more back-up .A warm helpful girl you had to like . No invoice/receipt given even after requesting . Security man overcharged for water and said this was on instruction from the owner .Water was free in our other earlier riad. Did not ask for water again .Top terrace had to be locked all times , unless being used , for security reasons we were told , given proximity to other roof top properties .Breakfast very limited , but adequate , only one pot of tea on arrival !Got used to street noise as could not close windows - no air cond. Otherwise good location , full of character, lovely art .Just needs DIY and guest friendly inititives to bring up to a reasonable standard .As matters stand this riad would not be recommended by my wife and I . Sorry to say this , but an honest review is essential for riad operators and guests .No offence intended .
