I booked for one night but stayed for over a week. Beautiful, wonderful style! This place is a real gem with lovely staff and gorgeous rooms. Don't be put off by the fact that it's not right in the hub of all the tourist action in Essaouira, this is part of it's charm. It's in a part of the medina that still feels real and authentic and anyway it's really close to Bab Marrakech for orientation. I was a lone female traveller and never felt unsafe in the area around Maison du Vent. I would highly recommend this place for it's peaceful atmosphere, lovely terrace and helpful staff.
