Wifredo Lam was a noted painter, sculptor and ceramicist, commonly known as the Cuban Picasso. Havana's Wifredo Lam Centre of Contemporary Art contains Lam's lithographs and etchings and hosts temporary shows exhibiting work by contemporary Cuban and Latin American artists.
