One of the oldest, cheapest and most charming journeys, the Hong Kong Tram Ride runs the length of the island from traditional Kennedy Town to Shau Kei Wan. For the best view of crowded streets, take a top deck seat.
The tram has been running since 1904 and passes through the Central, Admiralty & Wan Chai area. Visitors can admire the soaring skyscrapers of the Central district and the genteel square of Edinburgh Place. Hop off at gigantic Times Square shopping mall, or carry on past the Hong Kong Central Library and the Happy Valley Racecourse. The ride ends on a note of tranquillity at Shau Kei Wan with its many temples.
