Playing host to everything from the Rolling Stones to Mendelssohn's Elijah are Birmingham's city-centre iconic buildings. The 1,100-capacity Town Hall, with its original 6,000-pipe organ, is fully restored and the 2262-seater Symphony Hall is home to the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
