    Dallas:

Located in the former Texas School Book Depository in downtown Dallas, the Sixth Floor Museum chronicles the life, death and legacy of President John F Kennedy, assassinated at this location in 1963. A block away stands the moving Kennedy Memorial.

On the morning of 22 November, Kennedy was shot by a gunman from the sixth floor, or so the story goes. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza explores the mysterious assassination and the social and political climate that may (or may not) have contributed to his death.

The museum is a permanent historical exhibition providing insight with news reels, audio broadcasts and the world reaction to Kennedy's death compiled into two films which run in seated theatres within the museum. Photographs, artefacts, graphs and charts complete the picture.
